Bafta Winners 2023 All Quiet On The Western Front

The German WWI drama "All Quiet on the Western Front" won a total of seven trophies at this year's BAFTAs, including Best Film, Director, Adapted Screenplay and Film Not in the English Language. The film now holds the record for a film not in the English language, which was previously held 1988's "Cinema Paradiso". The Irish dramedy "The Banshees of Inisherin" and Baz Luhrmann's biopic "Elvis" were tied for second biggest winners of the night four wins apiece.

Cate Blanchett won Best Actress for "Tar", while Austin Butler won for his performance in "Elvis". Supporting awards went to Barry Keoghan and Kerry Condon, both for "The Banshees of Inisherin"

Wga Awards Film Nominations 2023 Complete List

The Writers Guild of America has announced the nominees for this year's film categories.

"Everything Everywhere All At Once", "The Fabelmans", "The Menu", "Nope" and "Tar" will compete for the Original Screenplay trophy, while "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever", "Glass Onion", "She Said", "Top Gun: Maverick" and "Women Talking" are the contenders for the Adapted Screenplay award.

The film and TV winners will be honored at the 2023 Writers Guild Awards ceremonies on Sunday, March 5.

Oscar Nominations 2023 Complete List

The nominations for the 95th Academy Awards have been announced on Tuesday morning. The sci-fi film "Everything Everywhere All at Once" dominates this year with 11 nominations, including Best Picture, Director (Daniel Kwan, Daniel Scheinert), Lead Actress (Michelle Yeoh), Supporting Actor (Ke Huy Quan) and Supporting Actress (Jamie Lee Curtis, Stephanie Hsu). Germany's World War I drama "All Quiet on the Western Front", and Martin McDonagh's "The Banshees of Inisherin" follow closely behind with nine nominations each.

The musical biopic "Elvis" received eight nods. "Avatar the Way of Water" scored only four nominations, but managed to get into the Best Picture race. No nomination for James Cameron, though. "Top Gun: Maverick" nabbed six nominations, including Best Picture, but nothing for director Joseph Kosinski, or lead actor Tom Cruise.

Other Best Picture contenders include Steven Spielberg's "The Fabelmans" (7 nominations), Todd Field's "Tár" (6 nominations), and Ruben Östlund's "Triangle of Sadness" (3 nominations).

Jimmy Kimmel will return to host the Oscar. The 95th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and will be televised live on ABC.

Bafta Film Awards 2023 Nominations

The nominations for the 2023 BAFTA Film Awards have been announced. Netflix's German-language WWI drama "All Quiet on the Western Front" leads the pack with 14 nominations, including Best Film, equaling the BAFTAs non-English language film record previously set by Ang Lee's "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon", but also the record set by 2011's "The King's Speech".

Martin McDonagh's "The Banshees of Inisherin" and Daniel Kwan & Daniel Scheinert's "Everything Everywhere All At Once" are tied with 10 nods each, while Baz Luhrmann's "Elvis" is close behind with 9 nominations. "Tar" scored 5 nods, including Best Leading Actress (Cate Blanchett).

Other contenders include "Aftersun", "The Batman", "Good Luck to You", "Leo Grande", "Top Gun: Maverick" and "The Whale", each film scoring four nominations. James Cameron's "Avatar: The Way of Water" only managed to score two nods, for Best Sound and Visual Effects.

Pga Awards Nominations 2023

The nominations for the 2023 Producers Guild of America Awards feature some of the usual suspects, but also a few surprises. The feature film lineup includes "Avatar: The Way of Water", "The Banshees of Inisherin", "Black Banther: Wakanda Forever", "Elvis", "Everything Everywhere All at Once", "The Fabelmans", "Glass Onion", "Tar", "Top Gun: Maverick" and "The Whale".

The 34th Annual Producers Guild Awards will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Golden Globe Nominations 2023 Complete List

The nominations for the 80th annual Golden Globe Awards have been unveiled today. The nominees for Best Picture (Drama and Comedy/Musical) are "The Way of Water", "Elvis", "The Fablemans", "Tár", "Top Gun: Maverick", "Babylon", "The Banshees of Inisherin", "Everything Everywhere All at Once", "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery" and "Triangle of Sadness".

"The Banshees of Inisherin" leads with eight nominations, followed by "Everything Everywhere All at Once" with six nods, while Damien Chazelle's "Babylon" and Steven Spielberg's "The Fabelmans" are tied with five each.

In the television categories, "Abbott Elementary" scored the most nominations with five, while "The Crown", "Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story", "Only Murders in the Building", "Pam & Tommy" and "The White Lotus" got four nods apiece.

The winners will be announced on January 10th. The ceremony will be held at the Beverly Hilton and will be hosted by Jerrod Carmichael. It will air on NBC and Peacock.

Tar 2022 Movie Trailer Clip Images Poster

"Tár" is a psychological drama written, directed and produced by Todd Field ("In the Bedroom", "Little Children"). The cast includes Cate Blanchett, Noémie Merlant, Nina Hoss, Sophie Kauer, Julian Glover, Allan Corduner and Mark Strong. The film premiered at the 2022 Venice International Film Festival where it won the Volpi Cup for Best Actress. "Tar" opened in theaters on October 28, 2022.

Halloween Ends Movie Trailer

Today we have new trailers for:
  • "Halloween Ends", the third chapter in the reboot trilogy that also includes 2018's "Halloween" and 2021's "Halloween Kills". Jamie Lee Curtis returns alongside Andi Matichak, Rohan Campbell, Will Patton and Kyle Richards. The film is once again directed by David Gordon Green.
  • The psychological drama "Tar" directed by Todd Field ("Little Children"). The film stars Cate Blanchett, Noemie Merlant, Nina Hoss, Sophie Kauer and Julian Glover.
  • The dramedy "Raymond & Ray" starring Ethan Hawke and Ewan McGregor. The film is produced by Oscar-winning filmmaker Alfonso Cuaron ("Gravity"), and written/directed by Rodrigo Garcia ("Four Good Days", "Last Days in the Desert").
  • The romantic horror road movie "Bones and All" starring Timothee Chalamet and Taylor Russell. Directed by Luca Guadagnino ("Call Me By Your Name", "Suspiria"), the film premiered to rave reviews at this year's Venice International Film Festival
  • The alien-invasion adventure movie "Slash/Back" directed by Canadian Native filmmaker Nyla Innuksuk.
  • The action film "Guns of Eden" written and directed by Gregory Lamberson ("Widow's Point", "Johnny Gruesome"). The film stars Alexandra Faye Sadeghian and genre icon Lynn Lowry.

Confess Fletch Jon Hamm Trailer

Today we have new trailers for:
  • The detective comedy "Confess, Fletch" starring Jon Hamm. Directed by Greg Mottola ("Superbad", "Adventureland"), the film is based on the 1976 novel by Gregory Mcdonald, specifically, the second in the author's crime book series. The novels were previously adapted into the 1985 comedy starring Chevy Chase.
  • The upcoming remake "Goodnight Mommy" starring Naomi Watts. The film is based on the acclaimed 2014 Austrian psychological horror thriller, and it's directed by Matt Sobel ("Take Me to the River").
  • The psychological drama "Tar" from acclaimed filmmaker Todd Field ("Little Children"). The film stars Cate Blanchett, Noemie Merlant, Nina Hoss, Sophie Kauer, Julian Glover, Allan Corduner and Mark Strong.
  • Netflix's upcoming disaster comedy "White Noise" starring Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig. The film is directed by Noah Baumbach ("Marriage Story").
  • The horror film "Greywood's Plot" a horror comedy from producers Jason Goldberg ("Glorious") and Brandon Waites ("Followed"). The film is directed, co-written by, and stars Josh Stifter. The cast also includes Daniel Degnan, Kim Fagan and Samantha Kirchoff.
  • The horror anthology film "How Dark They Prey" from Film Valor, and directors Jamison M. LoCascio and Adam Ambrosio. The film stars Josiah Schneider, Timothy Paul Jobe and David Johnson.
