Legend (2015) Movie Clips, Featurettes and Posters

Today we have three clips, two featurettes and six posters for Brian Helgeland's crime drama "Legend" which is making its U.S. debut today. Tom Hardy's dual role as real-life twin gangsters Ronnie and Reggie Kray earned a lot of praise from critics, but the film overall is considered a flawed effort with a hit-and-miss script from Helgeland. The film also stars Emily Browning, David Thewlis, Christopher Eccleston, Chazz Palminteri, Tara Fitzgerald, and Taron Egerton.

Rooney Mara is set to star in the drama Blackbird
Ben Mendelsohn to star in the drama Blackbird
Rooney Mara ("The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo") and Ben Mendelsohn ("Starred Up") are set to star in the drama "Blackbird". Directed by critically acclaimed Australian stage director Benedict Andrews from a script by playwright David Harrower (based on his own play), the film tells the story of two people, Ray (Mendelsohn) and Una (Mara), who once had a passionate affair which ended abruptly with Ray being arrested and imprisoned. The relationship is rekindled fifteen years later when Una arrives unannounced at Ray's office. Ray has made a new life for himself, while Una is looking for answers. The film is being described as an "emotional thriller" which explores the concept of "damaged love" with shattering consequences.

Here's what Andrews had to say about the project:
"I am relishing the opportunity to bring this vital, highly-charged story to the screen. David has written a beautiful, brutal script and I have two outstanding actors in the roles of Ray and Una. The fragility and extremities of human experience are central to my work- and BLACKBIRD is no exception"
The cast also includes Indira Varma, Tara Fitzgerald and Riz Ahmed. "Blackbird" will shoot for five weeks across the south of England. Mara, who recently won the Best Actress award the Cannes Film Festival for her role in "Carol", can also be seen this year in Joe Wright's "Pan", while Mendelsohn will play the villain in "Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One".
