One of the season's major story arcs involves a wrongful-termination lawsuit made by a staff member alleged to have doctored a report about a suspicious U.S. drone strike. As details about the suit's origin and aftermath emerge, The Newsroom team continues its quixotic mission to "do the news well" in the face of corporate and commercial obstacles, and their personal entanglements.

The full trailer, a behind-the-scenes featurette and a poster have been released for the upcoming season of the HBO series "The Newsroom". The third season will also be the last for Aaron Sorkin's show and the story will be based on the 2013 Boston bombing. In the featurette, Sorkin talks about these final episodes. The series stars Jeff Daniels, Emily Mortimer, Sam Waterston, Alison Pill, John Gallagher Jr., Thomas Sadoski, Olivia Munn, Dev Patel, Mamie Gummer, Jane Fonda and Chris Messina.

The final season of "The Newsroom" premieres on HBO on November 9th.
