Krysten Ritter is set to return as guest star for the second season of the Showtime/Paramount+ series "Dexter: Resurrection". In Season 1 she starred as fan-favorite Mia, aka Lady Vengeance, a serial killer by night and sommelier by day, who was eventually killed while in prison. Season 2 details are being kept under wraps, so we'll just have to wait and see if she's still playing Lady Vengeance, or a different character.
The cast also includes Uma Thurman, who reprieses her character Charley, as well as newcomers Brian Cox as The New York Ripper, Dan Stevens as The Five Borough Killer, Bokeem Woodbine as Capt. Mixon, and Nona Parker Johnson as Fiona Mixon.
Showrun and executive produced by Clyde Phillips, "Dexter: Resurrection" started weeks after Dexter (Michael C. Hall) took a bullet to the chest from his own son, as he awakens from a coma to find Harrison (Jack Alcott) gone without a trace. Realizing the weight of what he put his son through, Dexter sets out for New York City, determined to find him and make things right. The Season 2 synopsis has not been revealed.
The show is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Counterpart Studios. Phillips executive produces alongside Hall, Scott Reynolds, Marcos Siega, Tony Hernandez, and Lilly Burns. John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton, Veronica West, Kirsa Rein, Tanner Bean and Katrina Mathewson also executive produce.
