"The Invite" is a comedy directed by Olivia Wilde and written by Will McCormack and Rashida Jones based on the 2020 Spanish film "The People Upstairs" by Cesc Gay. The film stars Seth Rogen, Wilde, Penelope Cruz, and Edward Norton. It premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival, and received a limited release in theaters on June 26th, before expanding nationwide on July 10th.
