WGA Awards 2021: The Complete List Of Winners

The winners of the 2021 WGA Awards have been announced. Their top film honors went to Emerald Fennell for "Promising Young Woman" in the Original Screenplay category, and the Adapted Screenplay award to Sacha Baron Cohen and his team of writers for the "Borat" sequel. In the television categories, the winners include "The Crown", "Ted Lasso", "Mrs America" and "The Queen's Gambit".

2021 WGA Awards Nominations Include BORAT 2, JUDAS AND THE BLACK MESSIAH and THE TRIAL OF THE CHICAGO 7

The Writers Guild of America Awards announced their nominations for the 2021 WGA Awards. The film nominations include "The Trial of the Chicago 7", "Judas and the Black Messiah", "Palm Springs", "The White Tiger", "Promising Young Woman", "Sound of Metal" and "Borat Subsequent Moviefilm".

Notable snubs this year due to ineligibility include some massive critical darlings and awards favorites like "Nomadland", "Da 5 Bloods", "Minari", "Mank", "Pieces of a Woman" and the animated film "Soul".

Golden Globes 2021: The Complete Nominations List

The 78th Annual Golden Globe Awards nominations have been announced. Netflix leads the pack with a total of 42 nominations for both movies and shows, followed by Amazon and Hulu with 10 nods each.

In the motion picture categroy, the contenders are "The Father", "Mank", "Nomadland", "Promising Young Woman", and "The Trial of the Chicago 7". The top films in the musical/comedy category are "Borat Subsequent Moviefilm", "Hamilton" (???), "Palm Springs", "Music" and "The Prom".

In the television categories, the top contenders are "Emily in Paris", "The Flight Attendant", "The Great", "Schitt's Creek" and "Ted Lasso" for musical/comedy, while in the drama category we have "The Crown", "Lovecraft Country", "The Mandalorian", "Ozark" and "Ratched".

This year's ceremony will air live on February 28the at 5 p.m. PT on NBC. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will return to host the Golden Globes.

BORAT SUBSEQUENT MOVIEFILM (2020) - Trailer, Clip, Images and Posters

"Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan" or simply just "Borat Subsequent Moviefilm" is a sequel to the 2006 film "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan".

Sacha Baron Cohen returns as Borat Sagdiyev, the character he created in "F2F" and "Da Ali G Show". Maria Bakalova stars as Borat's daughter, who he brings along to America. The film was shot with a minimal crew in secret earlier this year during the COVID-19 lockdown.

"Borat Subsequent Moviefilm" was released on October 23, 2020 on Amazon Prime Video
