Primetime Emmys 2021 Winners: The Complete List

Netflix made history at the 73rd annual Primetime Emmy Awards. The streamer scored 44 wins, 10 of which during the primetime ceremony, and another 34 at the Creative Arts Emmy ceremonies last weekend. At a very distant second came HBO/HBO Max with 19 awards (10 primetime), followed by Disney+ with 14 (only one primetime), and Apple TV+ with 10 (4 primetime).

Netflix's major winners were "The Crown" and "The Queen's Gambit" with 11 Emmys each, while NBC's "Saturday Night Live" scored a total of eight trophies. "Ted Lasso" went home with seven Emmys, and Netflix's "Love, Death & Robots" with six.

HBO's main contenders, "Mare of Easttown" and "Hacks", each scored three wins during the primetime ceremony, while the former already had one Creative Arts Emmy.

2021 Emmy Nominations: The Complete List

The nominations for the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards have been revealed, and this year HBO/HBO Max gathered 130 nods, narrowly edging Netflix's 129 nominations.

The most nominated shows this year are "The Crown", tied with "The Mandalorian" (24), followed by "Wandavision" (23), "The Handmaid's Tale" (21), "Saturday Night Live" (21), "Ted Lasso" (20) and "Lovecraft Country" (18).

Among limited series, the top contenders are "Mare of Easttown" with 16 nominations, and "The Queen's Gambit" with 16 nods.

Final voting by members of the Television Academy will run from August 19-30.

The Primetime Emmys will air live Sunday, September 19, on CBS and stream on Paramount+. Cedric the Entertainer will host the ceremony, which will be held in-person at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

DGA Awards 2021 Winners: The Complete List

The winners of the 2021 Directors Guild Awards were revealed on Saturday. The evening's top honor was awarded to Chloe Zhao for "Nomadland". Zhao became the first woman of color to win the DGA's feature directing prize, and it further consolidates the film's chances at the upcoming Oscars. Darisu Marder won the first-time directing award for Amazon Studios' "Sound of Metal". In the television categories, the winners include "Homeland, "The Flight Attendant" and "The Queen's Gambit".

Producers Guild Awards 2021 Winners: NOMADLAND Wins Top Film Prize

Chloe Zhao's "Nomadland" took home the Darryl F. Zanuck award, the Producers Guild of America's top prize for theatrical motion pictures, which also happens to be one of the key indicators for the Best Picture Academy Award. Pixar's "Soul" won the award for animated feature.

In the television categories, "Schitt's Creek" won the comedy series award, while "The Crown" nabbed the drama series prize. "The Queen's Gambit" took home the award for limited series.

WGA Awards 2021: The Complete List Of Winners

The winners of the 2021 WGA Awards have been announced. Their top film honors went to Emerald Fennell for "Promising Young Woman" in the Original Screenplay category, and the Adapted Screenplay award to Sacha Baron Cohen and his team of writers for the "Borat" sequel. In the television categories, the winners include "The Crown", "Ted Lasso", "Mrs America" and "The Queen's Gambit".

Golden Globes 2021 - The Complete Winners List

The winners of the 78th Annual Golden Globe Awards have been announced on Sunday. The big winners were "Nomadland", "Borat Subsequent Moviefilm", "The Crown", "Schitt’s Creek" and "The Queen’s Gambit", with Netflix taking home 10 trophies, six for TV and four for film. Amazon finished in second place with three awards. There were no landslide winners in either film or TV categories.

THE QUEEN'S GAMBIT Miniseries Trailers, Featurette, Images and Posters

"The Queen's Gambit" is a six-episode drama miniseries created by Scott Frank and Allan Scott based on Walter Tevis' 1983 novel of the same name.

The limited series focuses on the life of orphan chess prodigy Beth Harmon (Anya Taylor-Joy) from the age of 8 to 22 as she struggles with addiction in her quest to become a Grandmaster in chess. The cast also includes Moses Ingram, Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Bill Camp.

"The Queen's Gambit" premiered on October 23, 2020 on Netflix.
