Oscars 2025 Winners Complete List

Sean Baker's "Anora" won big at the 97th Academy Awards, scoring five trophies: Best Picture, Director, Actress (Mikey Madison), Original Screenplay and Editing. Baker took home four of those five awards, tying Walt Disney's Oscar record for most individual wins in one year, although Baker won all of his Oscars for one film, while Disney won for four different movies in 1954: "The Living Desert" (Best Documentary Feature), "The Alaskan Eskimo" (Best Documentary - Short Subject), "Toot, Whistle, Plunk and Boom" (Best Short Subject - Cartoon), and "Bear Country" (Best Short Subject - Two-Reel).

Adrien Brody took Best Actor for A24's "The Brutalist", and Zoe Saldana and Kieran Culkin won in the Supporting categories for Emilia Perez" and "A Real Pain", respectively. "Conclave" only scored a win for Adapted Screenplay (Peter Straughan"). "Dune: Part Two" won two awards for Best Sound and Visual Effects, while "Wicked" took home two trophies for Costume and Production Design.

Sag Awards 2025 Winners Conclave

"Conclave" was the big winner the 31st annual SAG awards, taking home the marquee Ensemble in a Motion Picture trophy. Demi Moore won the Female Actor in a Motion Picture award for her performance in the horror film "The Substance", while Timothée Chalamet pulled off a surprise win for Lead Actor in a Motion Picture for his role as the young Bob Dylan in " A Complete Unknown".

Zoe Saldaña nabbed the Female Actor in a Supporting Role prize for Netflix's "Emilia Pérez", and "A Real Pain" star Kieran Culkin took home the Male Actor in a Supporting Role award.

In the television categories, Only Murders in the Building" won two awards: Male Actor in a Comedy Series (Martin Short) and Ensemble Comedy In A Series. Colin Farrell won Male Actor in a TV Movie or Limited Series for his performance in "The Penguin", while Jessica Gunning won Female Actor in a Limited Series for "Baby Reindeer".

"Shōgun" actors Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai scored Male and Female Actor in a Drama Series, respectively. "Hacks" star Jean Smart nabbed the trophy for Female Actor in a Comedy Series.

Two-time Oscar winner and Emmy winner Jane Fonda received the SAG Life Achievement. The ceremony was held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and was hosted by Kristen Bell.

Bafta Film Awards 2025 Winners Complete List

The Vatican drama "Conclave" was among the big winners at the 2025 BAFTA Film Awards, scoring four trophies including Best Film, Outstanding British Film and Adapted Screenplay. Brady Corbet's "The Brutalist" also landed four wins: Best Director, Leading Actor (Adrien Brody), Original Score and Cinematography.

Netflix's musical drama "Emilia Perez" nabbed two awards, Supporting Actress (Zoe Saldaña) and Film Not In The English Language, while "A Real Pain" won Best Supporting Actor (Kieran Culkin) and Original Screenplay (Jesse Eisenberg).

David Jonsson ("Alien: Romulus") won the EE Rising Star Award, and Warwick Davis received the BAFTA Fellowship.

Oscars 2025 Nominations Complete List

The 2025 Academy Awards nominations were revealed on Thursday after voting had been extended twice because of the wildfires that have devastated Los Angeles. The musical "Emilia Pérez" leads with 13 nominations, followed closely behind by the historical epic "The Brutalist" and the box office hit "Wicked" with 10 nods apiece. Meanwhile, the Vatican thriller "Conclave" and the Bob Dylan biopic "A Complete Unknown" each scored eight nominations. All five previously mentioned films are also contenders in the Best Picture category alongside "The Substance", "Anora", "Nickel Boys", "Dune: Part Two" and "I'm Still Here".

The awards ceremony will be hosted by Conan O'Brien and will be held at the Dolby Theatre on March 2nd. The Oscars will air on ABC, but for the first time, it will also be available to stream live on Hulu. It was also announced that the March telecast will "acknowledge those who fought so bravely against the wildfires".

Bafta 2025 Nominations Complete List

The nominations for the 2025 BAFTA Film awards have been announced in London this morning. The Vatican thriller "Conclave" leads the pack with 12 nominations, while the crime musical "Emilia Pérez" is close behind with 11 nods. Both films will complete with "The Brutalist", "Anora", and "A Complete Unknown" for Best Film.

Brady Corbet's epic drama "The Brutalist" landed nine nominations, while "Anora", "Dune: Part Two" and "Wicked" are tied with seven nods. "A Complete Unknown" and the Irish biographical comedy "Kneecap" scored six nominations each.

This year the BAFTAs introduced a new "Children's And Family Film" category. The Nominees are "Flow", "Kensuke's Kingdom", "Wallace And Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl" and "The Wild Robot".

The ceremony will take place on February 16th at London's Royal Festival Hall. "Doctor Who" star David Tennant will return to host.

Sag Awards Nominations 2025 Complete List

The nominations for the 2025 SAG Awards were revealed. The group's scheduled in-person announcement was canceled due to the wildfire tragedy in Los Angeles. The film ensemble category nominees include "A Complete Unknown", "Anora", "Conclave", "Emilia Pérez" and "Wicked".

The lead actor contenders include Adrien Brody ("The Brutalist"), Timothée Chalamet ("A Complete Unknown"), Daniel Craig ("Queer"), Colman Domingo ("Sing Sing") and Ralph Fiennes ("Conclave"). The nominees for lead female actor are Pamela Anderson ("The Last Showgirl"), Cynthia Erivo ("Wicked"), Karla Sofía Gascón ("Emilia Pérez"), Mikey Madison ("Anora") and Demi Moore ("The Substance").

In the television categories, the nominees for Ensemble in a Drama Series are "Bridgerton", "The Day of the Jackal", "The Diplomat", "Shōgun" and "Slow Horses". The Comedy Series contenders include "Abbott Elementary", "The Bear", "Hacks", "Only Murders in the Building" and "Shrinking".

Jane Fonda will receive the SAG Life Achievement Award.

The winners of the 31st annual SAG Awards will be announced on February 23rd at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles. The ceremony will be hosted by Kristen Bell and will stream live on Netflix.

Dga Awards 2025 Nominations Complete List

We now have both the TV and theatrical nominees for the 77th annual DGA Awards. In the film category, the nominees are Jacques Audiard ("Emilia Perez"), Sean Baker ("Anora"), Edward Berger ("Conclave"), Brady Corbet ("The Brutalist") and James Mangold ("A Complete Unknown").

In the television categories, the top contenders include "Shogun", "True Detective: Night Country", "The Diplomat", "The Bear", "Ripley", "Disclaimer" and "The Penguin".

The winners will be announced on February 8th at The Beverly Hilton.

Critics Choice Awards 2025 Nominations Complete List

The nominations for the 30th annual Critics Choice awards have been revealed. The 2025 film nominees include "Conclave" and "Wicked", both leading with 11 noms each, including Best Picture, as well as "Dune: Part Two" and "Emilia Pérez" with 10 nods apiece, and "The Brutalist" with nine. The previously announced TV nominations are topped by "Shōgun" with six nods, including Best Drama Series. The winners will be announced on Sunday, January 12, 2025, live on E!.

Golden Globes 2025 Nominations Complete List

The Golden Globes' 2025 nominations have been announced. The top contender is Jacques Audiard's "Emilia Pérez" with 10 nominations, including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy (Karla Sofia Gascon), and Best Director – Motion Picture (Audiard).

Other highlights include "Conclave" with six nods, "The Substance" with five, and "Challengers" with four nominations. "Wicked" also scored four, including nominations for Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo.

Meanwhile, in the television categories, "The Bear" leads with five nominations, including Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy, followed by "The Penguin" with three, "Only Murders in the Building" with four, and "Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story" with three nominations.

The 2025 Golden Globes will air on January 5th, 2025.

Weekend Box Office Venom 3 Here

"Venom: The Last Dance" still dominates the box-office after a solid second frame drop. It was a relatively quiet pre-election weekend, with only one new wide release, Robert Zemeckis' "Here", which unfortunately could not find an audience.

Weekend Box Office Venom The Last Dance

"Venom: The Last Dance", the third and final installment in the comic book trilogy, fell short of expectations but still opened at the top of the box office. Meanwhile, the Vatican thriller "Conclave" scored a decent debut. Overall, the box-office was down from last year for a third consecutive frame, and a lot of the blame lies with DC's "Joker: Folie A Deux" which has already exited the Top 10 after three weeks in theaters.

Conclave 2024 Movie Trailers Clips Images And Posters

"Conclave" is a thriller directed by Edward Berger ("All Quiet on the Western Front") from a script by Peter Straughan ("Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy") based on the 2016 novel of the same name by Robert Harris. The cast features Ralph Fiennes, Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow, Sergio Castellitto and Isabella Rossellini. The film opened in theqaters on October 25, 2024.

The Order 2024 Jude Law Trailer

Based on the non-fiction book "The Silent Brotherhood: Inside America's Racist Underground" by Kevin Flynn and Gary Gerhardt, the film is directed by acclaimed Australian director Justin Kurzel ("Macbeth", "True History of the Kelly Gang") from a script by Zach Baylin ("King Richard", "Gran Turismo").

Alien Romulus Final Movie Trailer

Today we have new trailers for:
  • The sci-fi horror film "Alien: Romulus", the latest installment in the iconic "Alien" franchise. Directed by Fede Alvarez (2013's "Evil Dead", "Don't Breathe"), the film stars Cailee Spaeny, Isabela Merced, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Aileen Wu and Spike Fearn.
  • A24's darkly comedic fable "A Different Man" starring Sebastian Stan, Renate Reinsve, Adam Pearson, C. Mason Wells, Owen Kline, Charlie Korsmo, Patrick Wang and Michael Shannon. The film is written and directed by New York-based filmmaker Aaron Schimberg ("Chained for Life")
  • The highly anticipated supernatural comedy "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice", the sequel to Tim Burton's 1988 classic "Beetlejuice".
