In Theaters: BURNT, OUR BRAND IS CRISIS, SCOUTS GUIDE TO THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE, BARE

This week in theaters there's not really a lot of Halloween action in terms of new releases, although most of them are somewhat dark in tone. In wide release we have the chef drama "Burnt" starring Bradley Cooper, the political satire "Our Brand is Crisis" starring Sandra Bullock and the horror comedy "Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse". In limited release the drama "Bare" starring Dianna Agron and Paz de la Huerta might be worth checking out.

The indie drama "Bare" begins a limited run in theaters today, so here are the official trailer, a clip, seven images and a poster. Written and directed by Natalia Leite, the film stars Dianna Agron as a young girl who becomes romantically involved with a female drifter (Paz de la Huerta) who introduces her to a life of stripping, drugs, and metaphysical experiences that teach her what happens when real life catches up with dark fantasy. Chris Zylka, Louisa Krause, Mary Price Moore and Lora Martinez-Cunningham co-star.

Weekend Box-Office Report: INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2 Scares Its Way To the Top

Director James Wan continues his winning streak with the debut of his horror sequel "Insidious: Chapter 2". The film, which garnered mixed reviews, performed extremely well and occupied the top spot in force with a gross of $41 million in three days. Even more amazing for the filmmaker, and the studio backing him, is that the sequel only cost $5 million to make. By comparison, the first "Insidious" opened with $13 million and ended up grossing $97 million worldwide, versus a $1.5 million budget. Wan's other haunted house horror released this year, "The Conjuring", was also wildly successful and earned an identical $41 million in its opening weekend and a total worldwide gross of $270 million. Even though his horror skills have turned out to be extremely profitable, James Wan is now moving on to a different kind of franchise. He is currently set to direct "Fast & Furious 7".

The R-rated mob action comedy "The Family" starring Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer and Dianna Agron, did not perform so well. The film managed to take second place in its opening weekend with a gross of $14 million. The Luc Besson film has a budget of $30 million to recover, but it shouldn't be that difficult to reach that milestone and maybe even turn a profit in the long run. The film has not yet been released overseas.

Three movie clips and a behind-the-scenes featurette have been released for Luc Besson's action comedy "The Family". Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Dianna Agron and John D'Leo star as a mob family relocated to France as part of the witness protection program. Soon enough they go back to doing what they do best. "The Family" is executive-produced by Martin Scorsese and also stars Tommy Lee Jones. The release date is September 13, 2013.

We have a new international trailer as well as five new character posters for Luc Besson's new film "The Family" (formerly "Malavita"). The film's story focuses on a mob family who struggles with life in the witness protection program and their relocation to France. The posters feature the family members played by Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Dianna Agron and John D'Leo. If you were expecting this to be a light PG-13 action comedy, then I have some good news. The film has been rated R for "violence, language and brief sexuality". "The Family" also stars Tommy Lee Jones and it is executive-produced by Martin Scorsese. The film opens on September 13, 2013.

The first images for Luc Besson's crime dramedy "The Family" ("Malavita") have appeared online. The film tells the story of the Manzoni family, a notorious mafia clan, that is relocated to Normandy, France as part of the witness protection program. And as you can expect, their old habits make a comeback. Robert De Niro stars as the head of the feared crime family and Michelle Pfeiffer stars as his wife. The cast also features Tommy Lee Jones and Dianna Agron. "The Family" opens on September 20, 2013.
