Razzie Awards 2024: WINNIE THE POOH - BLOOD AND HONEY Wins Five Trophies

The winners of this year's infamous Razzie awards have been announced. Celebating the worst in film, the 44th annual Razzies have picked the horror film "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey" as the worst of 2023. The film swept the Razzies, winning five trophies: worst picture, director and screenplay (Rhys Frake-Waterfield), screen couple (Pooh and Piglet) and remake/rip-off/sequel.

"Expend4bles" scored two wins for Supporting Actor (Sylvester Stallone) and Supporting Actress (Megan Fox). Fox also won the Leading Actress prize for her role in "Johnny and Clyde".

The Razzie's Redeemer Award this year went to Fran Drescher, previously nominated in 1998 for "The Beautician and the Beast", for her "brilliant shepherding of the actors’ guild through a prolonged 2023 strike with a successful conclusion."

Razzie Award Nominations 2024: The Complete List

No awards season is complete without the Golden Raspberry Awards. The nominations for its 44th edition have been revealed, and the most-nominated film is "Expend4bles", scoring no less than seven nods, followed by "The Exorcist: Believer" and "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey" tied with five nominations. We've also got two superhero movies in here, from both sides of the isle, DC's "Shazam! Fury of the Gods" and Marvel's "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" with four nods each.

Weekend Box-Office: EXPENDABLES 4 Flops As THE NUN II Continues to Dominate

The fourth installment of "The Expendables" missed the top spot by just $100,000, but that could change when the actuals arrive on Monday afternoon. What won't change is how badly the film tanked during this year's lowest-grossing weekend. Not a single film managed to clear $10 million.

"The Expendables 4", or "Expend4bles", is an action film directed by Scott Waugh ("Act of Valor", "Need for Speed") from a script by Kurt Wimmer, Tad Daggerhart and Max Adams. The cast includes Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran and Andy García. The film opened in theaters on September 22, 2023.
