Jurassic World Rebirth New On Dvd Bluray 4k

Product Description: A new era is born. This summer, three years after the Jurassic World trilogy concluded with each film surpassing $1 billion at the global box office, the enduring Jurassic series evolves in an ingenious new direction with Jurassic World Rebirth. Anchored by iconic action superstar Scarlett Johansson, Emmy and SAG nominee Jonathan Bailey and two-time Oscar® winner Mahershala Ali, this action-packed new chapter sees an extraction team race to the most dangerous place on Earth, an island research facility for the original Jurassic Park, inhabited by the worst of the worst that were left behind. Also starring acclaimed international stars Rupert Friend and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, the film is directed by dynamic visualist Gareth Edwards (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) from a script by original Jurassic Park screenwriter David Koepp. Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, the planet’s ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived. The three most colossal creatures across land, sea and air within that tropical biosphere hold, in their DNA, the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind.

John David Washington to Star in Gareth Edwards' New Sci-Fi Movie TRUE LOVE
"Tenet" star John David Washington is on board to star in Gareth Edwards' next film "True Love" for New Regency. The film is written and directed by Edwards, with New Regency on board to produce and finance.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the film is set in the near future. This is one of several projects that Edwards had been developing after directing "Rogue One", and once the package hit the market, New Regency jumped at the opportunity to work with him.

"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" producer Kiri Hart will produce along with Edwards.

New Regency's upcoming slate includes Adrian Lyne's "Deep Water" starring Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas, the big screen adaptation of the musical "Everybody’s Talking About Jamie", and Robert Eggers' "The Northman" starring Alexander Skarsgard, Nicole Kidman and Willem Dafoe..

Washington recently completed work on David O. Russell's new film, which features an ensemble cast that includes Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, Robert De Niro, Mike Myers, Chris Rock and more.

"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" is now in theaters, so here are all the clips, featurettes, images and posters that Disney has released for the film.

The film has been receiving solid reviews from the critics that suggest this is a bold and promising step forward in a new direction for the series. It hasn't quite generated the same insanely positive reactions that "The Force Awakens" did last year, but it all sounds encouraging, especially considering that it's the first "Star Wars" film that isn't part of the seven-film (so far) saga and bears no major connection to its characters. The story is set before the events of "A New Hope" and deals with the Death Star threat. Darth Vader (voiced by James Earl Jones) will make an appearance in the film for a reported ten minutes of screen time, and the prequel trilogy's Bail Organa (Jimmy Smits) will also have a small part to play.

It's very important for Disney to get this one right, because if it succeeds on all fronts, it will open up a whole new universe of possibilities for "Star Wars" spin-offs. And it does look like it may succeed. In fact, the pre-weekend tracking for "Rogue One" suggests that it may open with a huge $120-150 million, and it could double those numbers internationally for a worldwide debut of $250 million to $300 million, which would qualify it as one of the Top 15 openings of all-time.

Directed by Gareth Edwards ("Godzilla"), the film stars Felicity Jones, Mads Mikkelsen, Ben Mendelsohn, Diego Luna, Donnie Yen, Forest Whitaker, Alan Tudyk, Wen Jiang, Riz Ahmed and Genevieve O'Reilly

Disney is pretty generous with the new footage from "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story", and it all culminated with this latest extended sneak peek called "Trust", which puts everything together nicely. Directed by "Godzilla" helmer Gareth Edwards, the film stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Donnie Yen, Wen Jiang, Riz Ahmed, Ben Mendelsohn, Mads Mikkelsen, Forest Whitaker and Alan Tudyk.

"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" opens in theaters on December 16th, and you can start buying tickets on November 28th.

The first trailer for "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" has been released online along with a batch of hi-res images and a teaser poster.

The spinoff is directed by Gareth Edwards ("Godzilla") and it focuses on a group of resistance fighters who must steal the plans to the Death Star which is ultimately destroyed by the rebels in "A New Hope".

The cast features Felicity Jones, Riz Ahmed, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Forest Whitaker, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Mads Mikkelsen, and Alan Tudyk.

First Star Wars Rogue One image featuring Felicity Jones

Disney has released the first official image for "Star Wars: Rogue One". Directed by Gareth Edwards, the film is a spinoff prequel set in the Star Wars universe and it follows a group of resistance fighters who must steal the plans to the Death Star which the rebels ultimately destroy in "A New Hope", so I guess there's not much room for a twist ending.

The image provides the first look at the cast which is led by Oscar nominee Felicity Jones ("The Theory of Everything"). She is joined by Riz Ahmed, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Forest Whitaker, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Mads Mikkelsen, and Alan Tudyk. Tudyk will be playing a performance-capture character.

Another notable change is that the title went from "Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One" to a more Disney-friendly "A Star Wars Story: Rogue One". It sounds ridiculous and I hope they go back to the Anthology version.

star-wars-anthology-rogue-one-synopsis-details

This weekend's Star Wars Celebration revealed some new information about the upcoming "Star Wars: Rogue One" spinoff. According to an official tweet, the film will follow a band of resistance fighters who unite for a daring mission to steal the Death Star plans. Furthermore, the film has been called an "anthology film", probably the first of many such standalone installments. The official title will now be "Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One". A logo was revealed at the Celebration:

Felicity Jones Photo
"Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One" will take place between Episode III and Episode IV, and Felicity Jones will star as a rebel soldier. There will be no Jedi in this movie and according to director Gareth Edwards:
"It comes down to a group of individuals that don’t have magic powers, that have to bring hope to the galaxy."
The screenplay has been written by Gary Whitta ("After Earth") and Chris Weitz ("Cinderella") and the story was apparently pitched by ILM's John Knoll.

A teaser for the movie was screened at the Celebration and while any online embeds are forbidden, a description of the trailer did make its way on the Internet:
"A card with “December 2016″ fades in and out, with a sound that is somewhere between a slow Inception horn and a lightsaber. Then a familiar voice: Alec Guinness as Obi-Wan Kenobi, saying “For more than a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the old Republic. Before the dark times. Before the Empire.”

As he speaks, the teaser fades in on a tracking shot, high up through a forested canyon. We hear a TIE Fighter pass overhead, and see the ship move forward into frame as the camera continues to push forward. We see, dominating the sky, the outline of what could be a moon. But that’s no moon, it’s a… well, you know what it is. The Death Star, under construction. Music swells and the screen goes black. The Rogue One logo comes up, and we hear radio voices, like troops communicating during combat. The chatter gets more frantic and loud as light strobes on the logo, which finally breaks up as the sound cuts out."
"Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One" opens in theaters on December 16th, 2016. Below you can also see a photo of the concept art for Rogue One that was unveiled at the Celebration panel:

Alexandre Desplat to score Star Wars: Rogue One
After it was announced that the "Star Wars" spinoff will be titled "Rogue One" and will star Felicity Jones, we now have another update on the project. Academy Award winner Alexandre Desplat will score Gareth Edwards' film. The French film composer delivered the news himself on the Radio Classique’s Culture Club podcast.

Desplat also scored Edwards' "Godzilla" remake and won his first Oscar last month for his work on "The Grand Budapest Hotel".

J.J. Abrams' "Star Wars Episode VII" will be scored by franchise veteran John Williams, and it's possible that the main trilogy will continue to be scored by Williams, but the decision to get Desplat for the spinoff is probably related to the difficulty of handling the tight schedule since Disney seems determined to release a "Star Wars" movie per year.

"Star Wars: Rogue One" will open in theaters on December 16, 2016.

Felicity Jones Picture 1
The "Star Wars" spinoff directed by Gareth Edwards is beginning to attract a lot of attention lately. Recently it was announced that Chris Weitz ("About a Boy" ) would be writing the script instead of Gary Whitta ("Book of Eli"), and now we have the first casting announcement.

Academy Award nominee Felicity Jones ("The Theory of Everything") is in talks to star in the untitled "Star Wars" spinoff. Rooney Mara and Tatiana Maslany were considered for the lead, but the filmmakers seem determined to bring Jones on board. The actress has also signed on for Ron Howard's "Inferno", an adaptation of Dan Brown's latest novel in the Robert Langdon series.

The spinoff is rumored to be something in the same vein as "Dirty Dozen" and that it would focus on a group of bounty hunters who are trying to retrieve the plans for the Death Star. But, again, these are only rumors at this point. There are also some rumors regarding the male lead, and according to THR, Aaron Paul ("Breaking Bad") and Edgar Ramirez ("Deliver Us from Evil ") are being considered.

The "Star Wars" spinoff will be released on December 16, 2016.

Now that filming on "Star Wars: Episode VII" is underway, the Internet is buzzing with leaked photos from J.J. Abrams' set, much to the director's chagrin. I tend to stay away from leaked photos, because you never know when you'll get slapped with a takedown notice. Besides, it's more fun to wait and see the completed movie, or at least some artsy official images, rather than stare at grainy pictures of half-built sets. The big news of the week however deals with the new "Star Wars" spinoffs and some interesting cast additions to the sequel.

Let's start with the casting news. Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong'o ("12 Years a Slave") and Gwendoline Christie ("Game of Thrones") have joined the cast of "Star Wars: Episode VII". There have been rumors of Nyong'o being in talks for a part in the film and now it's official. As for Christie, we will be seeing her in another big franchise movie in 2015, "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2". For the official press release announcing the casting, as well as statements from Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, read the full article.

Next, Lucasfilm and Disney have announced that "Godzilla" director Gareth Edwards and "Chronicle" director Josh Trank will helm future "Star Wars" spinoffs. It is unknown exactly what the stand-alone movies will be about, but rumors have been pointing towards Boba Fett, a young Han Solo and Yoda as protagonists for these additions to the franchise. The screenplays for the spinoffs will be handled by Lawrence Kasdan, Simon Kinberg and Gary Whitta. Josh Trank is also attached to direct the "Fantastic Four" reboot. For the official press release, read the full article.

"Star Wars: Episode VII" stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson and Max von Sydow. The release date is December 18, 2015.

godzilla-remake-image-first-look

A new image has been released by Entertainment Weekly for Gareth Edwards' "Godzilla" remake. The image represents the first official look at the titular monster in all its glory, full details and total distruction included. The monster obviously looks a lot closer to the Japanese original, so those who disliked the lizard look of the 1998 movie will be pleased. The remake stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn, Ken Watanabe and Sally Hawkins.

"Godzilla" opens in theaters on May 16th (2D, 3D and IMAX 3D).
