THE THURSDAY MURDER CLUB (2025) - Trailers, Images and Posters

"The Thursday Murder Club" is a crime comedy directed by Chris Columbus ("Home Alone", "Mrs. Doubtfire", "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone") from a screenplay by Katy Brand and Suzanne Heathcote based on the 2020 novel by Richard Osman.

The cast includes Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Ben Kingsley, Celia Imrie, David Tennant, Jonathan Pryce, Naomi Ackie, Daniel Mays, Henry Lloyd-Hughes and Richard E. Grant. The film premiered on August 28, 2025 after opening in select theaters on August 22nd.

O'Connor's original soundtrack, produced by longtime David Bowie collaborator Tony Visconti, spawned five singles and reached number five on the UK Albums Chart. Supporting O'Connor and Daniels are Jonathan Pryce (Brazil) as the band's junkie saxophonist, Mark Wingett (Quadrophenia) on guitar and Jon Finch (Hitchcock's Frenzy) as the powerful music producer who takes Kate to superstardom. Stephen Goldblatt's (Outland) scope cinematography grants the film an appropriately epic quality. Now, for the first time in North America, Breaking Glass appears in its original, longer UK cut, in a new restoration created from archival film elements.

THE PENGUIN LESSONS (2024) - Trailers, Images and Posters

"The Penguin Lessons" is a dramedy directed by Peter Cattaneo ("The Full Monty") from a script by Jeff Pope based on the 2016 memoir by Tom Michell.

Oscar nominee Steve Coogan stars as a disillusioned Englishman who undergoes a personal and political awakening after he adopts a penguin during a cataclysmic period in 1970s Argentina. The cast also includes Jonathan Pryce, Vivian El Jaber and Bjorn Gustafsson.

The film opened in theaters on March 28, 2025 in the US, and will be released in the UK and Ireland on April 18, 2025.

WOLF HALL Season 2 (The Mirror and the Light) - Trailer, Clips, Featurette, Images and Poster

The second and final season of the British historical drama series "Wolf Hall" premieres on March 23, 2025 on PBS in the US, after originally first airing on November 10, 2024 in the UK on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

The new season adapts "The Mirror & the Light", the final novel in the trilogy of books written by Hilary Mantel. The script is written by Peter Straughan ("Conclave", "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy"), and the cast features Mark Rylance, Damian Lewis, Lilit Lesser, Jonathan Pryce, THomas Brodie-Sangster, Timothy Spall and Harriet Walter.

SLOW HORSES Season 4 Trailer, Images and Poster

The fourth season of the spy thriller series "Slow Horses" has premiered on September 4, 2024 on Apple TV+. The show has already been renewed for a fifth season which will be based on the fifth book in the series, "London Rules". Based on the series of novels by Mick Herron, the show stars Gary Oldman, Jack Lowden, Kristin Scott Thomas and Jonathan Pryce.

David Tennant, Jonathan Pryce, Naomi Ackie, Daniel Mays & Henry Lloyd-Hughes Join Richard Osman Adaptation THE THURSDAY MURDER CLUB

David Tennant ("Doctor Who"), Jonathan Pryce ("The Two Popes"), Naomi Ackie ("Blink Twice"), Daniel Mays ("Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget") and Henry Lloyd-Hughes ("Killing Eve") are set to star in the upcoming Amblin and Netflix movie "The Thursday Murder Club" based on Richard Osman's 2020 novel of the same name.. The film is written and directed by Chris Columbus ("Home Alone", "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone").

The movie follows a group of friends in a retirement home who gather to solve murders for fun, but find themselves caught in a real case. The four members of the club will be played by Helen Mirren (ex-spy Elizabeth), Ben Kinsgley (ex-psychiatrist Ibrahim), Pierce Brosnan (former union activist Ron) and Celia Imrie (ex-nurse Joyce).

Filming begins later this month. Jennifer Todd and Chris Columbus will produce. Executive producers include Holly Bario, Jeb Brody, Eleanor Columbus and Jo Burn.

Osman had this to say about the project: "There's some great names and some more names coming as well. I think this is the greatest British cast assembled since the [Harry Potter] movies."

The film is the latest to be produced as part of Netflix and Amblin's film partnership, which also includes the upcoming "Carry-On" starring Jason Bateman and Taron Egerton.
