Trailer and Poster for Meg Ryan's Directorial Debut ITHACA

"Ithaca" is the directorial debut of Meg Ryan based on Pulitzer Prize-winning author William Saroyan's 1943 novel "The Human Comedy". Although you may have heard that this film reunites Ryan and Tom Hanks on the big screen for the first time since "You've Got Mail", Hanks only has a cameo in the film, while Ryan herself stars in a supporting role. So be careful how you manage your expectations for this one.

Set during World War II, the film tells the coming-of-age story of 14-year-old Homer Mcauley (Alex Neustaedter) whose older brother has gone to war leaving Homer to look after his widowed mother, his older sister and his 4-year-old brother. Homer works as a bicycle telegraph messenger, but one message in particular will change him forever.

The film also stars Sam Shepard, Molly Gordon, Hamish Linklater and Jack Quaid.

"Ithaca" will receive a limited release in theaters on September 9th.

Jeff Nichols' sci-fi drama "Midnight Special" opens in theaters today, so here are a new featurette and three clips.

The film received a solid critical repection. Although it might not appeal to everyone, it's well acted, ambitious and more thrilling than its modest appearance might suggest.

The film stars Michael Shannon, Jaeden Lieberher, Kirsten Dunst, Joel Edgerton, Adam Driver, Bill Camp, Scott Haze, Paul Sparks and Sam Shepard.

BLOODLINE Images: New Netflix Series Starring Kyle Chandler, Linda Cardellini and Sissy Spacek

A batch of new images have been released for Netflix's upcoming new series "Bloodline" from the creators of "Damages". The show focuses on a family whose secrets and scars are revealed when their black sheep brother returns home. There's also a very short teaser added in this post, but it doesn't show any actual footage from the series, so the images are the best first look we've got so far. The cast features Kyle Chandler, Ben Mendelsohn, Linda Cardellini, Sam Shepard, Sissy Spacek, Norbert Leo Butz, Jacinda Barrett, and Jamie McShane.

"Bloodline" will be released in March 2015.

AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY - First Movie Clip

The first movie clip for the drama "August: Osage County" has been released today. The film is an adaptation of Pulitzer and Tony-winning play written by Tracy Letts. The clip is an obvious showcase of Meryl Streep's acting skills and from the looks of it, this is a darker, but excellent performance that could earn the veteran actress some well deserved recognition during the awards season.

The cast also includes Julia Roberts, Ewan McGregor, Benedict Cumberbatch, Margot Martindale, Chris Cooper, Dermot Mulroney, Juliette Lewis, Abigail Breslin and Sam Shepard.

"August: Osage County" will open in theaters on December 25th.
