The new NBC action series "Taken" is a TV reboot of Luc Besson's franchise of the same name that starred Liam Neeson. The show serves as a prequel to the films and it stars Clive Standen ("Vikings") as Bryan Mills, the man with the particular set of skills. The cast also includes Jennifer Beals, Gaius Charles, Monique Gabriela Curnen, James Landry Hébert, Simu Liu, Brooklyn Sudano and Michael Irby. "Homeland" producer Alexander Cary will serve as showrunner.

"Taken" premiered on February 27th and the next episode will air on March 6th.

NBC's new show "Taken" is based on the action film series of the same name produced by Luc Besson and starring Liam Neeson.

"Vikings" star Clive Standen replaces Neeson as a young Bryan Mills, a former Green Beret who is confronted with a personal tragedy that shakes his world. Seeking revenge, Mills is recruited by the CIA and becomes the deadly operative with a very particular set of skills that we all know and love.

The cast also includes Jennifer Beals, Brooklyn Sudano, Monique Gabriela Curnen, Gaius Charles, Michael Irby, James Landry Hébert and Jose Pablo Cantillo

"Taken" will premiere on February 27, 2017.

Four new clips have been released for "Taken 3". The film opens today in theaters, but reviews have been extremely harsh, signaling the fact that the franchise may have run out of steam. Still, there's probably enough of Liam Neeson kicking ass to make it worth a trip to the local Multiplex. The film is directed by Olivier Megaton ("Taken 2") and also stars Maggie Grace, Forest Whitaker, Famke Janssen, Dougray Scott, Leland Orser and Jon Gries.

Taken 3 Trailer and Posters

A new trailer and three posters have been released for "Taken 3". The trailer is titled "12 Skills of Christmas" and it serves as a vivid reminder of Liam Neeson's violent skills and the fact that Christmas is coming. This new, and possibly final sequel in the Brian Mills saga is directed by Olivier Megaton ("Taken 2") and it also stars Maggie Grace, Forest Whitaker, Famke Janssen, Dougray Scott, Leland Orser and Jon Gries.

"Taken 3" opens in theaters on January 9, 2015.

The first trailer and a new poster have been released for the sequel "Taken 3". Liam Neeson returns as ex-covert operative Bryan Mills, who must now use his "particular set of skills" to avenge the death of his ex-wife and find out who framed him for the murder. Directed by Olivier Megaton ("Taken 2"), the film also stars Maggie Grace, Forest Whitaker, Famke Janssen, Dougray Scott, Leland Orser and Jon Gries.

Liam Neeson Taken Image

First of all, yes, there will be another "Taken" sequel. Secondly, Liam Neeson will reprise the role of retired CIA operative Bryan Mills in the new installment, and Deadline reports that the veteran actor will receive a salary of $20 million if negotiations end well. Famke Janssen and Maggie Grace are also in talks to return. Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen are currently working on the script for "Taken 3" and although no director has been officially approached, "Taken 2" helmer Olivier Megaton could return to direct.
