Product Description: Paddington, now happily settled with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens, has become a popular member of the community, spreading joy and marmalade wherever he goes. While searching for the perfect present for his beloved Aunt Lucy’s 100th birthday, Paddington spots a unique pop-up book in Mr. Gruber’s antique shop, and embarks on a series of odd jobs to buy it. Hilarity and adventure ensues when the book is stolen and Paddington and the Browns must unmask the thief.

Directed by Paul King, the sequel "Paddington 2" continues the adventures of the friendly bear from deepest, darkest Peru. Now living with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens, Paddington (voiced by Ben Whishaw) once again finds himself in trouble while searching for the perfect present for his beloved Aunt Lucy's 100th birthday.

The film also stars Hugh Grant, Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Madeleine Harris, Julie Walters, Samuel Joslin, Jim Broadbent, Brendan Gleeson, Noah Taylor and Peter Capaldi.

"Paddington 2" opened in theaters on November 10, 2017 in the U.K. and January 12, 2018 in the U.S. The film received a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes signifying unanimous praise from critics. However, that didn't impress American moviegoers much, as it only grossed $11 million in its opening weekend there. Overseas, the film has grossed $125.2 million from the U.K. and other countries.

Weekend Box-Office: JUMANJI Still Leads Ahead of Four New Releases Over MLK Weekend

"Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" is the unexpected hit of 2017 that continues to impress at the box-office even after a month in theaters. Meanwhile, Steven Spielberg's "The Post" expanded nationwide and received a decent boost, and the Liam Neeson thriller "The Commuter" overperformed. The other two new releases, "Paddington 2" and "Proud Mary" stumbled.

In Theaters: PADDINGTON 2, THE COMMUTER, PROUD MARY and THE INSULT

This week in theaters we have the first wave of significant new wide releases. There's the sequel "Paddington 2", which is currently 100% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, the thriller "The Commuter" starring Liam Neeson and the actioner "Proud Mary" starring Taraji P. Henson. In limited release be sure to check out the Lebanese courtroom drama "The Insult", which is on the Oscar shortlist for best foreign language film.
