Death To Smoochy 2002 New On Bluray

Product Description: Kids love him. TV execs adore him. Sheesh, it's enough to make out-of-work kiddie-show host Rainbow Randolph puke purple. Ever since that plush, fuchsia-hued, platitude-spouting Smoochy the Rhino started Jiggy-Ziggy-dancing in Randolph's time slot, he has just one mad goal: turn the rhino into a dead duck. Danny DeVito (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Twins, Matilda) takes the rhino by the horn to direct and co-star in this gleefully twisted skewering of children's TV. Robin Williams (Insomnia, Jumanji, Mrs. Doubtfire, Good Will Hunting), his famed wit set at warp, plays ranting Randolph. Edward Norton (Fight Club, Glass Onion) is the high-minded goodnik whose righteous-rhino creation becomes a sensation, and Catherine Keener (The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Get Out) portrays a jaded exec who likes kid-show hosts in, let's say, a grown-up way. Say nite-nite, rhino!

in-theaters-minions-selfless-the-gallows-boulevard

This weekend in theaters we have a new animated feature that should have no problem in taking over the box-office. The "Despicable Me" spinoff "Minions" may not have impressed critics much, but it has the best chance to top the charts, especially since its only competition consists of Tarsem Singh's sci-fi thriller "Self/Less" (a genre that doesn't bring in a lot of money these days, unless it's Marvel) and the Blumhouse horror flick "The Gallows". The latter will no doubt recover its micro-budget, but doesn't look like it's going to break any records. One of the more notable limited releases this week is the drama "Boulevard" featuring one of Robin Williams' final performances, and according to the critics it's a really good one, too. More about each movie after the jump.

Boulevard Movie Trailer and Poster

The drama "Boulevard" starring Robin Williams in one of his final roles begins a limited run in theaters today. While the film itself is not Williams' final role, as it is often marketed as, it does offer one of his more complex performances. According to a majority of the critics who reviewed this film, his performance is the only thing worth watching here. Williams stars as a devoted husband in a marriage of convenience who is forced to confront his secret life.

Directed by Dito Montiel ("A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints"), the film also stars Bob Odenkirk, Roberto Aguire, Kathy Baker, Giles Matthey and Eleonore Hendricks.

Absolutely Anything Movie Traile and Posters

The first trailer and posters for the sci-fi comedy "Absolutely Anything" have been released. The film is directed and co-written by Terry Jones ("Life of Brian") and it reunited the Monty Python crew as a group of eccentric aliens who decide to give the human called Neil Clarke (Simon Pegg) the power to do, as the title suggests, absolutely anything. Obviously, the first thing Clarke does with his powers is spy on his sexy neighbor (Kate Beckinsale), endow himself with an improved body and give his dog the ability to speak (voiced by Robin Williams). The film also stars Joanna Lumley, Eddie Izzard, Robert Bathurst and Rob Riggle.

"Absolutely Anything" opens in theaters on August 14th, in the U.K.
