"Creed III" is a sports drama directed by Michael B. Jordan in his feature directorial debut from a script by Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin. The film is the third installment in the "Rocky" spinoff series starring Jordan in the lead role. The cast also includes Tessa Thompson, Jonathan Majors, Wood Harris, Florian Munteanu and Phylicia Rashad. The film opened in theaters on March 3, 2023.

CREED II Trailers, TV Spots, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Posters

Directed by Steven Caple Jr., the boxing drama "Creed II" is a sequel to 2015's "Creed" and the eighth installment in the "Rocky" franchise. Michael B. Jordan reprises the role of Adonis Creed, the son of world heavyweight champion Apollo Creed, who in this new installment must face off against Viktor Drago (Florian Munteanu), the son of Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren) who killed Adonis' father in a tragic match and traded blows with Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) in the series' fourth installment.

The film also stars Tessa Thompson, Wood Harris, Russell Hornsby, Brigitte Nielsen, Milo Ventimiglia and Phylicia Rashad.

"Creed II" opened in theaters on November 21, 2018 and received a positive reception from critics.

Weekend Box-Office: KRAMPUS Almost Knocks Out MOCKINGJAY PART 2

Box-Office: THE HUNGER GAMES - MOCKINGJAY PART 2 Leads Thanksgiving Weekend

Even though Pixar's "The Good Dinosaur" and Warner Bros' "Creed" gave it their best shot, it was "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" that ultimately ruled the Thanksgiving weekend box-office. Also, "Victor Frankenstein" broke a record, but not one anyone would want to break. More after the jump.

In Theaters: CREED, THE GOOD DINOSAUR, VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN, THE DANISH GIRL

This week it's once again time to root for the underdog as the Rocky Balboa spinoff "Creed" is finally in theaters. The film has received an overwhelmingly positive response from critics and audiences alike, but still has to contend with Pixar's "The Good Dinosaur" for the top spot at the box-office. Another new wide release is "Victor Frankenstein" starring James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe, but I don't really see this one matter much for the weekend. In limited release we have Tom Hooper's latest Oscar-bait flick "The Danish Girl" starring Eddie Redmayne and Alicia Vikander. Will Redmayne go two for two at the Oscars next year ? We shall see. CREED - 7 Clips and 38 Pictures

The Rocky Balboa spinoff "Creed" is now in theaters, and it's certainly the most important event of the week. Today we have seven clips and thirty-eight images from the film.

The critical response has been overwhelmingly positive, with most reviews praising the film's new direction in the franchise that works because of Ryan Coogler's assured direction, Michael B. Jordan's amazing lead performance and Sylvester Stallone's unexpectedly solid supporting turn.

The film also stars Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, Graham McTavish, and Anthony Bellew.

New CREED Trailer, Featurette and Posters

Warner Bros. has released a new trailer, featurette and six posters for the Rocky Balboa spinoff "Creed". The story focuses on Adonis Johnson (Michael B. Jordan), the son of Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers), who gets his own shot at the title with the help of Creed's former nemesis turned friend, Balboa himself (Sylvester Stallone). The featurette highlights Jordan's transformation into Adonis, and it's certainly a dedicated performance from the looks of it.

Co-written and directed by Ryan Coogler ("Fruitvale Station"), the film also stars Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, Graham McTavish, and Anthony Bellew.

"Creed" is now in theaters.

The first official trailer and images for the boxing drama "Creed" have been released. The film is a spinoff of the "Rocky" franchise and it stars Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Johnson, the son of world heavyweight champion Apollo Creed (played by Carl Weathers in the original films). Adonis never knew his father, so he decides to go to Philadelphia and follow in the footsteps of his legendary career. Helping him along the way is none other than Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone), who reluctantly agrees to train him.

Co-written and directed by Ryan Coogler ("Fruitvale Station"), the film also stars Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, Graham McTavish, and Anthony Bellew.

"Creed" opens in theaters on November 25th.

Sylvester Stallone Reveals RAMBO 5 Plans

Rumors regarding "Rambo 5" have been floating around for some years now, without any of them actually turning into solid news. The last time I wrote about it on this site was in 2011 (read the article here). Now, however, Sylvester Stallone announced via Twitter that there will indeed be a fifth installment in the franchise and it will be titled "Last Blood: Rambo". Judging from the title, it will probably be the absolute last and final movie in the series. That is, until a reboot gets underway. Anyway, the actor/director/writer also announced that he's currently filming "Creed", the "Rocky" spinoff which focuses on Apollo Creed's grandson, who will be played by Michael B. Jordan ("Fruitvale Station"). He will also star in the crime drama "Scarpa" from director Brad Furman ("The Lincoln Lawyer"), a biopic of Gregory Scarpa, a former capo and enforcer for the Colombo crime family.
