Walton Goggins & Chloë Grace Moretz To Star In Action Comedy MISTER

Walton Goggins And Chloe Grace Moretz To Star In Action Comedy Mister

Walton Goggins ("The White Lotus", "Justified") and Chloë Grace Moretz ("Kick-Ass", "The Equalizer") are set to star in the action comedy "Mister", which marks the directorial debut of second unit and action director Wade Eastwood ("Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning", "Jumanji: The Next Level") from a script by Nicki Cortese and Nick Inglis. Josh Brolin was previously attached to star but was forced to exit due to unforeseen scheduling issues. Filming is set to begin next month in Madrid. Additional casting is in process.

The film follows a man (Goggins) who wakes up in a strange house covered in blood and comes to realize his true identity while fighting off contract killers from his past — including everyone from his exes to his best friend. To get out, he teams up with his estranged daughter (Moretz) who also has ended up in the family business, but they will need to repair their relationship in order to survive.

The production team includes cinematographer Henry Braham ("Superman") and production designer Nigel Phelps ("Thor: Love And Thunder").

Producers include Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee for Thunder Road alongside Goggins, Cortese, Inglis, and Wayne Marc Godfrey for Bright White Light, which also is financing the film. Executive producers include Chase Vergari, Ibrahim Mohammed, Eric Handler, Will Flynn, and Sophie Meyer who will oversee for Bright White Light. Black Bear represents international rights on the film, with CAA Media Finance handling domestic.

Goggins is also set to start filming the third season of Amazon's "Fallout". Moretz will next be seen in the romantic comedy "Love Language", and the thriller "The Edge Of Normal". She recently returned to the stage in the off-Broadway play "Caroline".
