Katherine LaNasa Joins Hulu's COUNT MY LIES Opposite Shailene Woodley

Katherine LaNasa Joins Hulu's COUNT MY LIES Opposite Shailene Woodley
Emmy Award winner Katherine LaNasa ("The Pitt") has joined the cast of Hulu's upcoming limited series "Count My Lies" in a recurring role. The show hails from "This Is Us" executive producers/showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, and it's based on the recently published debut novel by Sophie Stava. Aptaker and Berger penned the adaptation, executive produce and serve as showrunners.

"Count My Lies" follows compulsive liar Sloane Caraway (Shailene Woodley) as she fibs her way into a nanny position for the gorgeous and charismatic Violet (Lindsay Lohan) and Jay Lockhart (Kit Harington). It seems she's finally landed her dream job, but little does Sloane know, she's just entered a household brimming with secrets that are about to explode — with potentially catastrophic consequences for all. LaNasa will play Tracy, the mother of Woodley's character Sloane.

Lohan, Woodley and Scott Morgan of The Walk-Up Company also executive produce alongside Stava. 20th Television, part of Disney TV Studios, where Aptaker and Berger are under an overall deal, is the studio.

LaNasa currently stars in the critically acclaimed HBO Max medical drama "The Pitt". The second season will conclude on April 16. The actress also starred in the Apple TV series "Truth Be Told", Bravo/Netflix's "Imposters", and CW's "Katy Keene". She's also starred in films like 2012's "The Campaign", "Jayne Mansfield's Car", "Valentine's Day", "The Lucky Ones" and "Alfie".
