Stephanie Suganami to Star in Oliver Stone's New Movie WHITE LIES
Actress, entrepreneur, and environmental advocate Stephanie Suganami ("Opus", "Something from Tiffany's", "Power Book II: Ghost") has joined the cast of three-time Oscar winner Oliver Stone's first feature film since 2016's "Snowden". Titled "White Lies", the film explores family, loss and pain and uncovers how love can change shape during our lifetimes. The cast also includes Josh Hartnett, Leila George, Michael Douglas, Willem Dafoe, Ellen Barkin, Homer Gere and Yvonne Chapman. Stone directs from his own screenplay.

"White Lies" is told across three generations, and follows Jack Freeman (Hartnett), a child of divorce now repeating his parents' mistakes in his own marriage and with his own children. Feeling trapped, he embarks on a lust-filled journey to escape — only to find himself more lost than before. When he meets a woman whose life is the opposite of his own, he begins an unexpected journey on the path of rediscovery. Suganami will play the role of Chika, a woman who gets to know Jack and his son, Joe.

Producers include Fernando Sulichin, Maximilien Arvelaiz and Jordan Gertner for Sulichin's New Element Media. Tarak Ben Ammar and Gianluca Leurini of Eagle Pictures executive produce alongside James Packer and Jose Luis Manzano.
