Mason Thames To Star In Coming-Of-Age Comedy NARCS

Mason Thames ("How to Train Your Dragon", "Black Phone") has signed on to star in Sony Pictures' upcoming coming-of-age comedy "Narcs". The film will mark the directorial debut of "No Hard Feelings", "Good Boys" and "Dirty Grandpa" screenwriter John Phillips.

The script for "Narcs" is penned by Jordan & Justin Shipley, the creators of the TBS comedy "Wrecked", with a rewrite by Phillips & frequent collaborator Gene Stupnitsky, who directed "No Hard Feelings". Plot details are being kept under wraps.

Stupnitsky is also producing through his Big Name Entertainment banner, alongside Robert Lamonaca, Phillips and Joseph Micucci.

Thames can next be seen in the live-action sequel "How to Train Your Dragon 2", which opens in theaters on June 11, 2027, and the "John Wick" spin-off "Caine" directed by Donnie Yen.
