The 2026 MTV Video Music Awards have announced their winners during a ceremony hosted by Snoop Dogg, which took place at the Peacock Theater in LA. The big winner was Madonna, who took home no less than seven Video Music Awards, including Artist of the Year for her new album "Confessions II". Taylor Swift won Video of the Year for "The Fate of Ophelia" and Best Director for "Opalite". Swift also made history by becoming the first recipient of the MTV VMA's Artist Director Honors, while Nirvana received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award.
