Jason Momoa, Adria Arjona & Kiefer Sutherland Join Miles Teller in Thriller COPPERHEAD

Jason Momoa, Adria Arjona and Kiefer Sutherland. have joined the cast of Black Label Media's upcoming thriller "Copperhead". The film is directed by Venice prize-winner John Swab ("King Ivory") from a script by Chad Feehan and J. Todd Scott. The film also stars Miles Teller, Tenoch Huerta, Thad Luckinbill, Leila George, Shea Whigham, Jamie Chung, Michael Raymond-Jones and Bobby Soto.

Here is the official synopsis: "when an undercover drug deal explodes into violence, a veteran detective is forced to team with a young federal agent to unravel the conspiracy within their elite task force."

Character details are being kept under wraps. Filming started on September 14, 2026 in Oklahoma City and surrounding areas in Oklahoma. Black Bear is launching sales at this year's Toronto Film Festival. The project is financed by Black Label Media, which is producing alongside Teller's Lime Tree Productions and Swab's Milk Boy. CAA Media Finance and WME Independent will handle domestic rights.

Momoa can next be seen "Street Fighter", "Dune: Part Three", "A Minecraft Movie: Squared" and "Fast Forever". Arjon will next be seen in Michael B. Jordan's "The Thomas Crown Affair", the Amazon series "Criminal", the erotic thriller "Scorn" and James Gunn's "Man of Tomorrow". Sutherland's next projects are Luc Besson's "Father Joe" co-starring Al Pacino, and "The Horseman", which also stars Barry Pepper and C. Thomas Howell.
