Colin Farrell, Steve Coogan, Charlie Heaton, Domhnall Gleeson and More Join Irish Period Thriller BAD BRIDGETS

The ensemble cast of the Irish period thriller "Bad Bridgets" now includes: Colin Farrell ("Banshees of Inisherin", "In Bruges"), Steve Coogan ("Philomena", "Legends"), Charlie Heaton ("Stranger Things", "Industry"), Domhnall Gleeson ("Ex Machina", "Echo Valley"), Himesh Patel ("Yesterday", "The Odyssey"), Niamh Algar ("The Iris Affair", "Mary & George") and Simone Kirby ("Kneecap", "His Dark Materials").

The film is directed by Rich Peppiatt ("Kneecap"), and also stars Emilia Jones and Alison Oliver in the lead roles. Filming begins in Northern Ireland in July. "Bad Bridgets" was developed with support from Queen's University Belfast, and is produced with support from Northern Ireland Screen.

Based on the book "Bad Bridget: Crime, Mayhem, and the Lives of Irish Emigrant Women" by Elaine Farrell and Leanne McCormick, the film is set in 19th century famine-ravaged Ireland, and focuses on two sisters who make a treacherous journey to America to escape an abusive father, poverty and hunger. Once in New York, they join the ranks of other Irish women, the so-called "Bridgets", creating mayhem in the city.

The book was optioned by Peppiatt and his "Kneecap" producer Trevor Birney in 2025. Both are producing via their Coup d'Etat Films banner alongside LuckyChap. Cáit Collins executive produces. The creative team includes BAFTA-winning cinematographer Ryan Kernaghan ("Kneecap", "Trespasses"), Oscar and BAFTA-winning production designer James Price ("Poor Things") and Oscar and BAFTA-winning costume designer Kate Hawley ("Frankenstein").

"Soulmates" is a six-hour anthology series ​created by Emmy Award-winner William Bridges ("Stranger Things", "Black Mirror") and Brett Goldstein ("Ted Lasso", "Superbob").

The show is set fifteen years into the future when science has made a discovery that changes the lives of everyone on the planet - a test that unequivocally tells you who your soulmate is. Each episode will feature a different cast and explore an entirely new story around discovering (or opting not to discover) the results of this new test and the impact of those results on a myriad of relationships.

THE NEW MUTANTS (2020) - Trailers, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Posters

"The New Mutants" is a superhero horror film directed by Josh Boone ("The Fault in Our Stars") from a script he co-wrote alongside Knate Lee ("Kidnap").

The film is the thirteenth and final installment in the X-Men film series. It was originally supposed to be the first in a trilogy of films, but that all changed when Disney acquired Fox, and the film rights reverted back to Marvel Studios.

The plot follows five young mutants, Danielle "Dani" Moonstar (Blu Hunt), Rahne Sinclair (Maisie Williams), Illyana Rasputin (Anya Taylor-Joy), Sam Guthrie (Charlie Heaton) and Roberto da Costa (Henry Zaga), who are discovering their abilities while held in a secret facility against their will, and they must fight to escape their past sins and save themselves. Alice Braga and Adam Beach co-star.

"The New Mutants" opened in theaters on August 28, 2020 after several delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

STRANGER THINGS Season 2 Trailers, Clips, Featurette, Images and Posters

Netflix has released the second season of their fantasy series "Stranger Things". Created by Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer, the series is set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980s, where a series of strange supernatural events occur. The new season is set around Halloween, 1984, one year after the events of the first season, and will expand on the mythology developed so far for the show. The Duffer brothers have also stated that the second season was designed more like a sequel than a new season.

The series stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Charlie Heaton, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Millie Bobby Brown and Noah Schnapp. New additions to the new season's cast include Sean Astin ("The Lord of the Rings") and Dacre Montgomery ("Power Rangers").

SHUT IN Trailer, Clip, TV Spots, Images and Posters

The thriller "Shut In" stars Naomi Watts as a widowed child psychologist who lives an isolated existence in rural New England. When a young boy (Jacob Tremblay) she had been treating is reported missing, and presumed dead, she becomes convinced that his ghost is haunting her and her bedridden son (Charlie Heaton).

Directed by Farren Blackburn from a screenplay by Christina Hodson, the film also stars Oliver Platt, David Cubitt, Alex Braunstein and Clémentine Poidatz.

"Shut In" opens in theaters on November 11th.
