STAR WARS: THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU (2026) - Trailers, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Posters

"The Mandalorian and Grogu" is a new "Star Wars" movie directed by Jon Favreau from a script co-written by Favreau, Dave Filoni and Noah Kloor. The film is a sequel to the Disney+ series "The Mandalorian", and it stars Pedro Pascal, Jeremy Allen White, Brendan Wayne, Lateef Crowder, Jonny Coyne, Martin Scorsese, and Sigourney Weaver. It opened in theaters on May 22, 2026.

Hayden Christensen Returning As Anakin Skywalker in AHSOKA Season 2

"Star Wars" prequel trilogy star Hayden Christensen will return as Anakin Skywalker, the former Jedi padawan who turned to the dark side, in the second season of "Ahsoka". The announcement was made recently by the actor himself during "Star Wars" Celebration in Tokyo.

Christensen joined "Ahsoka" star Rosario Dawson, series creator Dave Filoni, and executive producer Jon Favreau on stage during a panel discussion. Christensen told the crowd he will be returning for Season 2 of the hit Disney+ series, which is set to start filming again next week: "There's not much I can share, but Anakin will be back for season two"

This upcoming season promises a deeper exploration of his bond with Ahsoka Tano, his former padawan. Filoni has made it clear that George Lucas already told the definitive Anakin story, but he also believes that the character still matters in the context of Ahsoka's personal journey: "Anakin's not here to be redefined. His role is more about emotional continuity, how a master's influence lingers in the student's life".

It was also revealed at the Celebration that "Game of Thrones" actor Rory McCann is stepping in to play evil Jedi Baylan Skol after the death of Ray Stevenson. Stevenson died in May 2023 before season one of "Ahsoka" premiered. Dawson worked with McCann 20 years ago in Oliver Stone's Alexander. McCann also starred in "Gladiator II", "Hot Fuzz" and "Jumanji: The Next Level". In "Game of Thrones" he played Sandor 'The Hound' Clegane.

Admiral Ackbar, famous for his victory in the Battle of Endor in "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi", is also returning and will be going head-to-head with Thrawn. Thrawn intends to reassemble the Empire through a series of military and political maneuvers intended to restore the Empire and destroy the New Republic. According to Filoni, Thrawn is "the iconic villain. Thrawn doesn't have the force, but holds his own against everybody."

Jeremy Allen White Joins MANDALORIAN & GROGU Movie

Emmy-winning "The Bear" star Jeremy Allen White has joined Disney's upcoming "Star Wars" film "The Mandalorian & Grogu". The actor will voice Jabba the Hutt's son, Rotta the Hutt, and it will be a major role, not a cameo. This will be the first movie in the space opera franchise since 2019's "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker".

Other plot details are not currently available. The film is directed by "The Mandalorian" creator Jon Favreau from a script he wrote alongside Dave Filoni ("Ahsoka", "Star Wars: The Clone Wars"). Pedro Pascal will reprise the role of Mando, and Sigourney Weaver is also attached to star in an undisclosed role.

The first footage from the film was presented by Favreau and Filoni at D23 in August and it teased the return of Babu Frick and a Hoth-like snowy planet with AT-ATs stomping around. Also starring is Zeb from the animated series "Star Wars: Rebels". "The Mandalorian & Grogu" hits theaters on May 22, 2026.

White is currently shooting the Bruce Springsteen biopic "Deliver Me From Nowhere" with writer-director Scott Cooper.

THE LION KING (2019) Trailers, TV Spots, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Posters

Disney's 2019 computer animated musical "The Lion King" is a remake of the studio's 1994 film of the same name. The remake replaces the original's traditional animation with new photorealistic CGI, and it features a new cast, as well as new music from Hans Zimmer, Elton John and Tim Rice.

Directed by Jon Favreau ("The Jungle Book") from a script by Jeff Nathanson ("Catch Me If You Can", "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales"), the film features the voices of Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Alfre Woodard, Billy Eichner, John Kani, John Oliver, Beyonce, James Earl Jones, Florence Kasumba, Keegan-Michael Key and Eric Andre. SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME Trailers, TV Spots, Clips, Featurettes, Images and Posters

"Spider-Man: Far From Home" is the 23rd installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and a sequel to 2017's "Spider-Man: Homecoming". The first film's director Jon Watts returns to helm the sequel from a script by "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" scribes Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.

Tom Holland reprises his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, who in this new chapter decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation, which ends up being more work than fun when Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) asks for his help in uncovering the mystery of several elemental creature attacks that have been creating havoc across the continent. Jake Gyllenhaal, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, Jon Favreau, Martin Starr and Marisa Tomei co-star.

"Spider-Man: Far From Home" opened in theaters on June 26, 2019 and received mostly positive reviews from critics.

Disney has released six clips for their live-action adaptation of "The Jungle Book" which is now in theaters.

The film has been receiving some very enthusiastic reviews from critics. The general consensus is that the new version is a gorgeous visual feast that makes great use of 3D and never loses sight of what makes Kipling's story so powerful, successfuly translating it to the big screen for a new generation.

Directed by Jon Favreau ("Iron Man"), the film stars Neel Sethi, Ben Kingsley, Bill Murray, Idris Elba, Scarlett Johansson, Lupita Nyong'o, Giancarlo Esposito, Christopher Walken and Garry Shandling.
