FOXCATCHER Full-Length Trailer Has Academy Awards Written All Over It

The first full-length trailer for what is easily this year's most highly acclaimed film, "Foxcatcher", has been released. It finally offers a good look at the plot, which is based on true events. Because this kind of movie doesn't sell as well as "The Avengers", the trailer amps up the buzz regarding the tour-de-force performances of the cast. Directed by Bennett Miller ("Capote"), the film tells the tragic story of Wrestling Champion brothers Mark Schultz (Channing Tatum) and Dave Schultz (Mark Ruffalo) and their relationship with eccentric millionaire John du Pont (Steve Carell), a paranoid and erratic man. Sienna Miller, Vanessa Redgrave and Anthony Michael Hall also star.

"Foxcatcher" opens in theaters on November 14th.

New Trailer and Poster for FOXCATCHER Starring Channing Tatum and Steve Carell

We have a new trailer and poster for the highly acclaimed drama "Foxcatcher". Directed by Bennett Miller ("Capote") and based on a true story, the film stars Steve Carell as eccentric millionaire John du Pont, a paranoid and erratic man whose relationship with Wrestling Champion brothers Mark Schultz (Channing Tatum) and Dave Schultz (Mark Ruffalo) ended in tragedy. The cast also features Sienna Miller, Vanessa Redgrave and Anthony Michael Hall.

"Foxcatcher" opens in theaters on November 14th.

FOXCATCHER Trailer and Poster: Channing Tatum and Steve Carell Oscar Performances

A new teaser trailer and poster have been released for the drama "Foxcatcher". Based on a true story, the film follows the troubled relationship between Olympic Wrestling Champion brothers Mark Schultz (Channing Tatum) and Dave Schultz (Mark Ruffalo), and eccentric millionaire John du Pont (Steve Carell), relationship which ended in murder. Tatum and Carell appear to be turning in award-winning performances, according to the critics, and the film is directed by Bennett Miller ("Capote", "Moneyball"), a director whose films usually get plenty of awards attention for their actors. Miller himself has already won the Best Director award at the Cannes Film Festival this year. Sienna Miller, Vanessa Redgrave and Anthony Michael Hall also star.

WINTER SLEEP Wins the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival

The Cannes Film Festival winners have been announced. The jury led by Jane Campion ("The Piano") awarded the Palme d'Or to turkish director Nuri Bilge Ceylan for his drama "Winter Sleep" ("Kis Uykusu"). This is only the second time a Turkish director has won top honors, after Yilmaz Guney and Serif Goren won for "The Way" in 1982. Nuri Bilge Ceylan has been previously nominated four times for the Palme d'Or. The directing prize was bestowed on Bennett Miller for the drama "Foxcatcher" starring Steve Carell and Channing Tatum. Julianne Moore won the best actress award for David Cronenberg's "Maps to the Stars", while Timothy Spall earned the best actor prize for Mike Leigh's "Mr. Turner".
