Wagner Moura Joins Kristen Stewart in Vampire Thriller FLESH OF THE GODS

Oscar nominee Wagner Moura ("The Secret Agent") has signed on to star in the upcoming vampire thriller "Flesh of the Gods" directed by Panos Cosmatos ("Mandy", "Beyond the Black Rainbow") from a screenplay by Andrew Kevin Walker ("Se7en", "8mm"). Moura replaces Oscar Isaac, who had to exit due to a scheduling conflict. A24 is set to distribute the film in the US.

The film follows Raoul (Moura) and Alex (Kristen Stewart), a married couple in 1980s Los Angeles who descend each evening from their luxury skyscraper condo and head into an electric nighttime realm. When they cross paths with the mysterious and enigmatic Nameless and her hard-partying cabal, Raoul and Alex are seduced into a glamorous, surrealistic world of hedonism, thrills and violence.

Adam McKay and Betsy Koch are producing for HyperObject Industries, alongside Jonas Katzenstein and Maximilian Leo for Germany's augenschein Filmproduktion. Stewart and Maggie McLean produce for Nevermind Pictures. XYZ Films is handling international sales and financing the project in association with IPR.VC.

Moura can next be seen starring in Louis Leterrier's Netflix sci-fi horror film "11817", and the drama "The Last Day" opposite Alicia Vikander.

GUILLERMO DEL TORO'S CABINET OF CURIOSITIES Anthology Series Trailers, Featurette, Images and Posters

"Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities" is a horror anthology series created by Oscar-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro based on his short story of the same name. The show features eight unique horror stories, two originals from Del Toro and two based on short stories by H.P. Lovecraft, personally curated by the filmmaker. Del Toro will introduce each episode. The episodes are directed by Jennifer Kent, Ana Lily Amirpour, Panos Cosmatos, Catherine Hardwicke, Guillermo Navarro, David Prior, Vincenzo Natali and Keith Thomas. "Cabinet of Curiosities" premiered on October 25, 2022 on Netflix.

MANDY (2018) - Trailer, Clip, Images and Poster

Written and directed by Panos Cosmatos ("Beyond the Black Rainbow"), the 1980s homage horror film "Mandy" stars Nicolas Cage as a haunted man who hunts an unhinged religious sect that slaughtered the love of his life, the titular Mandy (Andrea Riseborough).

The film also stars Linus Roache, Bill Duke, Richard Brake, Ned Dennehy and Olwen Fourere. The film was co-produced by Legion M, an entertainment studio that allows fans to invest in and be part of the creation of new movies and other forms of entertainment.

"Mandy" premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and was released in select theaters and on VOD on September 14, 2018. The film has received mostly positive reviews from critics.
