"Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul has joined the third season of Amazon's sci-fi series "Fallout", which is based on the video game franchise of the same name. Paul previously worked with the show's executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy on the final season of "Westworld".
Paul is a fan of the "Fallout" franchise, and he famously attended the "Fallout: New Vegas"' launch party at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas in 2010. Photos of him mingling with fans and Bethesda developers at the event have recently resurfaced.
Details about Paul's role are being kept under wraps. What is known about the new season is that Annabel O'Hagan and Dave Register have been promoted to series regulars. The show was created by Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, and it stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Xelia Mendes-Jones, Walton Goggins and Frances Turner.
The first two seasons of "Fallout" rank among the most-watched seasons of television on Amazon Prime Video. The third season started filming on May 1, 2026 in Santa Clarita, California. Frederick E. O. Toye is set to return to direct.
