Jean-Claude Van Damme to Star in WWII Action Film RAID PACIFIC

Jean Claude Van Damme To Star In Wwii Action Film Raid Pacific

Martial arts action star Jean-Claude Van Damme is set to star in the WWII action epic "Raid Pacific". The film is directed by Steven Luke ("Come Out Fighting", "Operation Seawolf"), and it's launching in the market in Cannes with VMI Worldwide representing worldwide sales. Additional casting and production details will be announced in the coming months.

The film is a wartime thriller based on true events set in the tense aftermath of the attack on Pearl Harbor, and it follows Captain William Pierce (Van Damme), a decorated U.S.-French submarine commander tasked with a high-stakes mission: to transport a small unit of Marine raiders deep into enemy-controlled waters. Their objective is to destroy a critical Japanese outpost — one that could shift the balance of the war.

The film will be produced by Dean Bloxom of Deano Prods., Luke of Schuetzle Company Prods. and Andre Relis of VMI Worldwide. Here's what Relis had to say about the project: "Raid Pacific is a story of resilience, sacrifice and leadership under extreme pressure. With Jean-Claude Van Damme bringing gravitas and intensity to the role of Captain Pierce, and Steven Luke's proven ability to craft compelling WWII narratives, this film promises to deliver a powerful cinematic experience".

Luke added: "Raid Pacific is exactly the kind of story I'm drawn to — grounded in real history, but driven by deeply human stakes".

Bloxom said: "Having Jean-Claude Van Damme step into the role of Captain Pierce brings a unique intensity and emotional depth that will elevate this production in a powerful way. I'm excited to connect audiences with this intense, immersive journey beneath the surface of the Pacific".
