Millie Brady & Pilou Asbaek Join Apple's MONARCH Spinoff Series

Millie Brady ("Surface", "The Last Kingdom") and Pilou Asbaek ("Foundation") have joined the cast of the new Apple TV and Legendary Monsterverse series in regular roles. The new show's lead is Wyatt Russell, who will reprise his role as a young Lee Shaw from "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters". Other character details are being kept under wraps.

The series will follow the story of Colonel Lee Shaw (Russell), an American operative who, in 1984, went on a secret mission behind enemy lines in an attempt to stop the Soviets from unleashing a horrific new Titan big enough to destroy the U.S. and turn the tide of the Cold War.

JD Dillard ("Devotion", "The Outsider") will direct the pilot episode, and Joby Harold serves as showrunner. Harold is developing multiple new series set within the franchise's evolving universe, featuring both new and fan-favorite Titans for Apple TV.

The new series is executive produced by Harold and Tory Tunnell for Safehouse Pictures, alongside Russell, Chris Black, Kyle Bradstreet, Alex Boden, and Dillard. Hiro Matsuoka and Takemasa Arita executive produce on behalf of Toho Co., Ltd., the owner of the Godzilla character.

Legendary's Monsterverse started with the 2014 "Godzilla" movie and is an expansive cross-platform story universe centered around humanity's battle to survive in a world facing a catastrophic new reality – the monsters of myths and legends are real. Other films in the franchise are 2017's "Kong: Skull Island", 2019's "Godzilla: King of the Monsters", 2021's "Godzilla vs. Kong", and 2024's "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire". The upcoming sequel "Godzilla x Kong: Supernova" will be released in theaters in 2027.

ROADKILL Miniseries Trailers, Clip, Images and Poster

"Roadkill" is a British four-part thriller miniseries written and created by Oscar nominated "The Hours" scribe David Hare.

Directed by Michael Keillo, the series stars Hugh Laurie as Peter Laurence, a self-made Conservative Party minister who is shamelessly untroubled by guilt or remorse, and seeks to further his own agenda whilst others plot to bring him down.

The cast also includes Helen McCrory, Pippa Bennett-Warner, Millie Brady, Ophelia Lovibond, Saskia Reeves and Iain de Caestecker.

"Roadkill" premiered on BBC One in the U.K. on October 18, 2020, and on November 1, 2020 on PBS in the U.S.

PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES Trailer, Images and Posters

The first trailer, images and posters for the horror romance "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" have been released online.

The film is based on Seth Grahame-Smith parody of Jane Austen's classic novel and it is set in 19th century England as the country is besieged by the undead. That doesn't mean, however, that society and its rules have ceased to exist. On the contrary. The classic plot of Austen's novel is still there, with the only addition that the Bennet sisters (played by Lily James, Ellie Bamber, Millie Brady, Bella Heathcote and Suki Waterhouse) will not only navigate social affairs, but also kick some zombie ass.

Directed by Burr Steers ("Igby Goes Down"), the film also stars Matt Smith, Jack Huston, Douglas Booth, Sam Riley, Lena Heady, and Charles Dance.

"Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" opens in theaters on February 5th, 2016.
