Kraemer fashions a crackerjack corker of a score, infusing it with an unmistakable 70s vibe that results in a sound that is as knowingly retro as it is freshly contemporary–the perfect compliment to this taught, wildly entertaining mystery/action/thriller cocktail.

Produced by Joe Kraemer and mastered by Bruce Botnick, this special CD release features an exclusive bonus track that is not available for digital download. Film music writer Tim Greiving provides liner notes, with additional notes from the composer and writer/director.

The 2013 edition of the Golden Globes selected its winners and although "Lincoln" was a heavy contender, it was "Argo" that took home the Best Picture (Drama) award, as well as Best Director (Ben Affleck). Spielberg's historical drama did not go home empty handed, however, as Daniel Day-Lewis won Best Actor for his portrayal of Abraham Lincoln.

"Les Miserables" rounded up the most awards with wins for Best Motion Picture (Comedy or Musical), Best Actor (Hugh Jackman) in a comedy or musical, and Best Supporting Actress (Anne Hathaway). Jessica Chastain won Best Actress for her role in Kathryn Bigelow's "Zero Dark Thirty", while Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy went to Jennifer Lawrence for "Silver Linings Playbook". "Django Unchained" also enjoyed some of the spotlight by winning Best Screenplay (Quentin Tarantino) and Best Supporting Actor (Christoph Waltz).

To access the complete list of awards for film and television read the full article.

ZERO DARK THIRTY

For a decade, an elite team of intelligence and military operatives, working in secret across the globe, devoted themselves to a single goal: to find and eliminate Osama bin Laden. Zero Dark Thirty reunites the Oscar winning team of director-producer Kathryn Bigelow and writer-producer Mark Boal (The Hurt Locker) for the story of history's greatest manhunt for the world's most dangerous man.

PARKER

Donald Westlake's pulp hero Parker is once again brought to the big screen in this thriller from director Taylor Hackford (Ray). Jason Statham picks up the Parker mantle from other iconic actors who have played him through the years -- most notably Lee Marvin in Point Blank and Mel Gibson in Payback. Jennifer Lopez, Clifton Collins Jr., Wendell Pierce, and Nick Nolte co-star.

GANGSTER SQUAD

Los Angeles, 1949. Ruthless, Brooklyn-born mob king Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) runs the show in this town, reaping the ill-gotten gains from the drugs, the guns, the prostitutes and-if he has his way-every wire bet placed west of Chicago. And he does it all with the protection of not only his own paid goons, but also the police and the politicians who are under his control. It's enough to intimidate even the bravest, street-hardened cop...except, perhaps, for the small, secret crew of LAPD outsiders led by Sgt. John O'Mara (Josh Brolin) and Jerry Wooters (Ryan Gosling), who come together to try to tear Cohen's world apart.

MAMA

Guillermo del Toro presents Mama, a supernatural thriller that tells the haunting tale of two little girls who disappeared into the woods the day that their mother was murdered. When they are rescued years later and begin a new life, they find that someone or something still wants to come tuck them in at night. The day their father killed their mother, sisters Victoria and Lilly vanished near their suburban neighborhood. For five long years, their Uncle Lucas (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and his girlfriend, Annabel (Jessica Chastain), have been madly searching for them. But when, incredibly, the kids are found alive in a decrepit cabin, the couple wonders if the girls are the only guests they have welcomed into their home.
