First Look At Priyanka Chopra In S.S. Rajamouli's New Film VARANASI

The first official images from "RRR" filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli's upcoming epic action adventure film "Varanasi" have been released online and you can check them out below along with the film's teaser trailer.

The images feature Priyanka Chopra, who stars in the lead role as Mandakini. The new images were released in time to celebrate Chopra's birthday on Saturday, July 18.

The film is a globetrotting adventure that spans across several timelines, and takes place in locations around the world, from Antarctica to Africa to the titular sacred city in India. With an estimated budget of ₹1,400 crore, it is set to become the most expensive Indian film ever made.

The cast also includes Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. MM Keeravani, the composer of the Oscar winning "RRR" song "Naatu Naatu", is also returning to work on "Varanasi". It is the first Indian film as well as the first non-English language film to be shot in the 1.43:1 IMAX format.

"Varanasi" will open in theaters worldwide April 7, 2027, coinciding with the festival of Ugadi.

Chopra is also set to star in Matt Smukler's survival thriller "Reset" opposite Orlando Bloom.

Product Description: Dr. Aman Mehra leads an enviable life. A successful and much-admired physician, he is married to the beautiful Nehra and lives with her in a splendid villa in the best part of town. Then, one night, just as they are celebrating their first wedding anniversary, the doctor and his wife are disturbed by a late night caller. Answering the door, Dr. Aman is confronted by a very serious and rather scary looking man who tells the doctor that he will perform a post mortem the next day on a man called Avinash and that he must write a truthful report about the cause of death. If not, the stranger warns Aman, terrible things will happen.

The next day the doctor is shocked to discover that the man on whom he is to perform the post mortem is the man who came to see him at 1 AM that morning. Four hours after his body was brought into the hospital.

From that point on, Aman’s charmed life turns into a nightmare as events crash around him. He finds himself threatened by gangsters who want him to falsify the post mortem report and he then discovers that the dead man, Avinash, was an expert practitioner of the black arts. Eventually Aman’s wife becomes possessed by the dead man’s avenging spirit. There is only one course of action left to him – an exorcism to free his wife from her spiritual bondage and then to tell the truth about the body in the morgue.

But will Aman have the courage to take on the forces of darkness? And will his family ever be free from the evil that has taken over their lives?

LUKKHE Series Trailer, Images and Poster

"Lukkhe" is a new Hindi-language musical action-drama series created by Agrim Joshi and Debojit Das Purkayastha. The show is a gritty, high-octane series focusing on the underground rap scene, crime, and personal ambition in Punjab, and it stars Raashi Khanna, Palak Tiwari, Yograj Singh, Kritika Bharadwaj, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Gitikka Ganju, Lavina Tandon and Nakul Roshan Sahdev. "Lukkhe" premiered on Amazon Prime Video on May 8, 2026.

Allu Arjun & Deepika Padukone Star in Director Atlee's Fantasy Action Film RAAKA

Indian film production and distribution company Sun Pictures has revealed the upcoming new epic fantasy action film from director Atlee, which is titled "Raaka". The studio also announced that the film will star Allu Arjun ("Pushpa: The Rise") and Deepika Padukone ("Kalki 2898 AD"), and released a title poster, which you can check out below. Padukone, previously worked with Atlee on "Jawan".

Atlee said the folliwing in a statement: "'Raaka' isn’t just a film… it's a part of me I've carried for years. For 18 years, I held on to one idea, never letting it fade. It tested me, shaped me, and stayed with me through everything. And honestly… this is just the beginning".

Sun Pictures added: "Sun Pictures is privileged to bring together the singular storytelling of Atlee and the iconic stature of Allu Arjun in a project built for the world".

Filming is expected to begin at a studio in Mumbai soon, with production likely continuing through the year. It has also been reported that Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, and Janhvi Kapoor are also set to star.

Arjun is best known for starring in the "Pushpa" film series. The filrst film grossed around $42 million worldwide in 2021. Its 2024 sequel, "Pushpa 2: The Rule" raked in $194 million globally, making it the third-highest-grossing Indian film of all time behind "Dangal" and "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion". For the most recent installment, "Pushpa: The Rise", Arjun won the Indian National Film Award for Best Actor.

BARAMULLA (2025) - Netflix Hindi-Language Horror Movie Trailers, Clips, Images and Posters

"Baramulla" is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language supernatural horror thriller directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale from a script by Aditya Dhar. The film stars Manav Kaul, Bhasha Sumbli, Arista Mehta, Ashwini Koul, Mir Sarwar and Vikas Shukla. It premiered on November 7, 2025 on Netflix.

Parvathy Thiruvothu to Star in Don Palathara's New Film Alongside Dileesh Pothan

Indian National Film Award winning actress Parvathy Thiruvothu ("Take Off", "Bangalore Days", "Virus") has signed on to star in an upcoming drama from acclaimed filmmaker Don Palathara ("Family", "Everything is Cinema", "Joyful Mystery"). The film co-stars acclaimed filmmaker and actor Dileesh Pothan ("Maheshinte Prathikaaram").

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the film has been described as an emotionally power-packed drama that will be shot extensively across the southern Indian state of Kerala. The project marks Thiruvothu's first collaboration with both Palathara and Pothan, two of the most respected creative voices in Malayalam-language cinema – India's flagship film industry in terms of innovative content – today.

Thiruvothu said the following: "Don Palathara's movies hold up a mirror to how we live and love, often without judgment or noise. To step into that kind of world as an actor is very liberating. His films have a powerfully meditative quality. He invites us to actively engage in reflecting on how we live. As an actor, I find that kind of space exhilarating because it demands that you unlearn performance and simply be. This is also incredibly challenging. Working with him has been on my wishlist for a while and I’m thrilled that this project came my way. And to share the screen with Dileesh, someone whose creative sensitivity I've admired for years, feels like an opportunity to be a student again."

Thiruvothu also stars in the thriller series "Storm", Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan's debut production for Prime Video, created and directed by Ajitpal Singh ("Tabbar", "Fire in the Mountains"). Production on "Storm" is scheduled to begin imminently.

"The Ba***ds of Bollywood" is an Indian Hindi-language satirical action comedy series created by writer/director Aryan Khan. The show follows the adventures of an ambitious outsider navigating the glitzy yet tricky world of Bollywood, with self-aware humor, cameos, and larger-than-life characters for a tongue-in-cheek take on Indian cinema.

The cast includes Lakshya Lalwani, Sahher Bambba, Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Mona Singh, Gautami Kapoor, Manoj Pahwa, Rajat Bedi, Manish Chaudhari, Arshad Warsi, Vijayant Kohli and Rohit Gill. "The Ba***ds of Bollywood" premiered on September 18, 2025 on Netflix.

Bollywood Superstar Kangana Ranaut, Tyler Posey and Scarlet Rose Stallone to Star in Horror Film BLESSED BE THE EVIL

Award-winning Bollywood superstar Kangana Ranaut ("Emergency", "Queen", "Fashion") is set to star in the new horror drama "Blessed Be The Evil". The film marks Ranaut's first lead role in a Hollywood mainstream feature. Anurag Rudra ("New Me", Tailing Pond") will direct from a screenplay written by Rudra and Gatha Tiwary, who will both also produce.

Inspired by true Indian folklore, the movie follows a Christian couple who tries to move forward after a devastating miscarriage by buying an abandoned farm with a dark past. Soon their love and faith are tested by a malevolent presence. Tyler Posey ("Teen Wolf", "Truth or Dare") and Scarlet Rose Stallone ("Gunslingers", "Tulsa King").

The production has made the decision to shoot in the U.S. to avoid running into any uncertainties stemming from the recently announced Trump industry tariffs. Filming will begin this summer in New York.

Producers presented the film at the Cannes Film Market. Casting is by Lisa London and Catherine Stroud of London/Stroud Casting. Award-winning cinematographer Wade Muller (Millennium Films' "Elephant White", and Saban Films' "Occupation: Rainfall") is confirmed as Director of Photography.

Rudra had this to say about the project: "Being born and spending my childhood in rural India, I was told stories that got embedded in my mind and heart. This folklore was so special that I truly believed in all the stories, and wanted to showcase them internationally through the art of cinema - the strongest and most beautiful way to connect to dreams and reality."

Tiwary added: "A story like Blessed Be The Evil is very rare. Lions Movies has developed a spine-chilling narrative with unprecedented suspense and drama. It also has great potential for international markets, both in streaming and selling."

Kangana Ranaut is a multi-award winning renowned Indian actress, filmmaker, and politician, best known for portraying strong, unconventional female characters in Hindi cinema. Ranaut gained critical acclaim for her roles in "Fashion", "Queen" and "Tanu Weds Manu Returns", with the latter two securing her consecutive National Film Awards for Best Actress. Ranaut wrote, directed and produced the period drama "Emergency", in which she portrays Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and is set during one of the most controversial periods of post-Independence Indian history. The film received a worldwide theatrical release in January 2025. Ranaut has received multiple awards including four National Film Awards (India's equivalent of the Academy Award), and four Filmfare Awards, honouring artistic and technical excellence in Indian cinema, among other numerous accolades. In 2020, Kangana was honoured with the 'Padma Shri', India's fourth-highest civilian award, for her contributions to the arts. Beyond her film career, Ranaut serves as a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha in India, entering office as a first-time member in 2024.

Tyler Posey's breakout role came as the lead Scott McCall on MTV's "Teen Wolf" which earned him several Teen Choice and ALMA Awards, and its revival film - "Teen Wolf: The Movie", which Posey also produced. Additional credits include the slasher-horror "Truth or Dare", co-starring Lucy Hale, The CW's smash hit series "Jane the Virgin" starring Gina Rodriguez and Justin Baldoni, and "Maid in Manhattan", starring Ralph Fiennes and Jennifer Lopez.

Scarlet Rose Stallone is an actress and reality star, and the youngest daughter of Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin. Stallone made her film debut in the crime comedy "Reach Me", starring Sylvester Stallone and Kyra Sedgwick, and has since appeared in various films and TV shows, including "The Gunslingers", starring Nicolas Cage, Heather Graham and Stephen Dorff, Taylor Sheridan's ("Yellowstone") series "Tulsa King" and Paramount+'s reality series "The Family Stallone".

Writer/Director/Producer Anurag Rudra produced the documentary short "Tailing Pond", which was narrated by Emmy Award winner Cynthia Nixon, and qualified for the 93rd Academy Awards for Documentary – Short category. Rudra's directorial debut, the horror-thriller "New Me", screened at the Cannes Marché du Film in 2022.
