Model and former competitive gymnast Livvy Dunne aka Olivia Paige Dunne, is the latest addition to the cast of Fox's upcoming "Baywatch" reboot/sequel series. This is the former Louisiana State University gymnast's professional acting debut. She recently revealed that she had been taking acting lessons and planned to pursue a film and TV career after retiring from the sport in April 2025.
Dunne will star in the recurring role of Grace, a highly enthusiastic junior lifeguard. The cast also includes Stephen Amell in the lead role of Hobie Buchannon, Jessica Belkin as Charlie Vale, Hassie Harrison as Nat, Thaddeus LaGrone as Brad, and Brooks Nader as Selene, the sharp-tongued Captain of the Zuma Beach lifeguards, and David Chokachi as the original show's Cody Madison.
The new series will follow Hobie (Amell), who serves as a Baywatch Captain, following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Mitch, played by David Hasselhoff in the original show. Hobie's world is turned upside down when daughter Charlie (Belkin) shows up on his doorstep eager to carry on the Buchannon family legacy.
Matt Nix serves as showrunner and executive produces. McG will direct the premiere episode, and also executive produces alongside Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto and Mike Horowitz.
The "Baywatch" reboot is co-produced by Fox Entertainment and Fremantle. Fox Entertainment Global holds all domestic rights, with Fremantle managing all international sales.
