TREADSTONE Series Trailer, Promos, Clips, Featurette, Images and Poster

"Treadstone" is a new action drama series created by Tim Kring ("Crossing Jordan", "Heroes") based on the Bourne cinematic franchise. The show is an origin story that focuses on a CIA black ops program known as Operation Treadstone—a covert program that uses behavior-modification protocol to turn recruits into nearly superhuman assassins. The cast includes Jeremy Irvine, Brian J. Smith, Omar Metwally, Tracy Ifeachor, Han Hyo-joo, Emillia Schule and Michelle Forbes.

"Treadstone" premiered on October 15, 2019 on USA Network.

New on DVD and Blu-ray: December 6, 2016

The new DVD and Blu-ray releases this week include the new Matt Damon action sequel "Jason Bourne", Illumination's animated feature "The Secret Life of Pets", the black and white version of "Mad Max: Fury Road" dubbed "Black & Chrome Edition", John Krasinski's feature film directorial debut "The Hollars", the documentaries "Heart of a Dog" and "For the Love of Spock", and many more.

We also have some new series premiering on home video this week: the first seasons of MTV's "The Shannara Chronicles", Disney's "Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures" and Oprah Winfrey's "Greenleaf", and the complete four seasons of "Prison Break", each one released on separate Blu-ray sets.

Weekend Box-Office: SUICIDE SQUAD Breaks August Record with $135 Million Debut

The DC Comics superhero movie "Suicide Squad" conquered the box-office over the weekend with a record-breaking performance. Meanwhile, "Nine Lives", the only other new wide release that dared to go up against "Suicide Squad", ended up being a disappointment.

In Theaters: JASON BOURNE, NERVE, BAD MOMS, INTO THE FOREST

This week in theaters it's all about thrills and some laughter. Two of the new wide releases are high-intensity thrillers. "Nerve" takes us on a crazy ride into the world of risky online games (no, not Pokemon GO), while "Jason Bourne" reunites us with the lovable super-spy with identity issues. If action and thrills aren't your thing, there's also the R-rated comedy "Bad Moms". In limited release, check out the drama "Into the Forest" starring Ellen Page and Evan Rachel Wood.

New Action-Packed Clips from JASON BOURNE Starring Matt Damon

Directed by Paul Greengrass ("The Bourne Supremacy" and "The Bourne Ultimatum"), "Jason Bourne" is the fourth installment in the action franchise inspired by Robert Ludlum's novel, not counting the spinoff film "The Bourne Legacy" starring Jeremy Renner. The film stars Matt Damon, Julia Stiles, Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel, Riz Ahmed and Tommy Lee Jones. "Jason Bourne" is now in theaters.

Universal has released the first official trailer, images and posters for "Jason Bourne". trailer.

The fourth installment reunites "The Bourne Supremacy" and "The Bourne Ultimatum" director Paul Greengrass with the franchise's star Matt Damon who once again plays the highly-skilled assassin as he is drawn out of the shadows by a new conspiracy.

The film also stars Julia Stiles, Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel, Riz Ahmed and Tommy Lee Jones.

Jason Bourne opens in theaters July 29, 2016.

2016 Super Bowl Movie Trailers

The Super Bowl movie trailers are finally here and they're pretty awesome. The broadcast is one of the most-watched live television events of the year and all the major studios made sure that they showcased their tentpole productions. The asking-price for a 30-second spot this year was somewhere between $4.6 million and $5 million.

The movies featured this year are "Eddie the Eagle", "Gods of Egypt", "Alice Through the Looking Glass", "Captain America: Civil Warm", "Deadpool", "10 Cloverfield Lane", "The Jungle Book", "Jason Bourne", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", "Independence Day: Resurgence", "X-Men: Apocalypse" and "The Secret Life of Pets".

The only major release missing from the lineup is Warner Bros' "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice", but the studio did secure two Turkish Airlines commercials featuring Ben Affleck and Jesse Eisenberg which invite us to visit Gotham and Metropolis. Both are included after the jump.

Vincent Cassel Joins BOURNE 5 as Villain

Cesar Award-winning French actor Vincent Cassel ("Black Swan") has signed on to play the villain in the upcoming sequel in the Bourne franchise. "Bourne 5" will be directed by franchise veteran Paul Greengrass and will once again star Matt Damon as the titular super-spy. There are no details at the moment regarding the role that Cassel will play, whether or not he'll be a rival field agent, or a behind-the-scenes evil mastermind. Either way, he's joining an already impressive cast which includes Alicia Vikander, Tommy Lee Jones and Julia Stiles. "Bourne 5" will open in theaters on July 29, 2016.

Julia Stiles Returning for BOURNE 5

As the new Bourne film is beginning to take shape with Paul Greengrass at the helm and Matt Damon in the lead role, we're beginning to hear news of other actors joining the project. According to the latest reports, franchise alum Julia Stiles is set to reprise her role as agency operative Nicky Parsons. The character has become an ally of sorts for Bourne throughout the series and it seems she will once again cross paths with the super-spy. It has also been reported that Alicia Vikander ("Ex Machina") is in talks for a role in the film, while Viggo Mortensen has been offered the role of the villain. According to producer Frank Marshall, the script has already been finished, which means that they're really moving fast. "Bourne 5" is scheduled for release on July 29, 2016.

Matt Damon Confirms Return to BOURNE Franchise in 2016

A few weeks ago it was rumored that the Bourne trilogy star Matt Damon and franchise director Paul Greengrass will both return for a new installment, one that would be separate from the Jeremy Renner series started in 2012 with "The Bourne Legacy". In an interview for E! Online, Damon offered the first official confirmation:

"Yes, [we shoot] next year. It’ll be in 2016 when the movie will actually come out. [Director] Paul Greengrass is going to do another one and that’s all I ever said. I just needed him to say yes.

But before filming begins on the new Bourne movie next fall, Matt Damon is also set to star in the drama "Manchester-by-the-Sea", Ridley Scott's "The Martian" and Alexander Payne's "Downsizing".

Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass Reunite for New BOURNE Sequel

For some years now, Bourne franchise star Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass have been very clear on the fact that they will not return for a fourth film featuring Jason Bourne. But now, it seems they've had a change of heart. According to recent reports, both Damon and Greengrass are in early talks with Universal for a new sequel. The studio is apparently determined to get the new film ready for a release on July 16, 2016, a slot previously assigned to an untitled Bourne film. The sequel to the spinoff "The Bourne Legacy" will apparently get pushed back, but not cancelled. The Jeremy Renner starring sequel will be directed by Justin Lin ("Fast & Furious"). Lin is currently working on the second season of the HBO series "True Detective".
