Lil Rel Howery Angela Sarafyan And Manny Montana To Star In Horror Film The Things We Hide

Lil Rel Howery ("Get Out"), Angela Sarafyan ("Westworld") and Manny Montana ("Good Girls") will star in the horror film "The Things We Hide" co-directed and produced by Amir Noorani and Eric Bergemann. Filming recently started in New York.

The story follows couple Naomi and Logan who, after a psychological breakdown nearly destroys their marriage, retreat to a remote farmhouse to seek a fresh start, but terrifying events soon begin top happen that blur the line between trauma, paranoia, and the supernatural.

Italy's Minerva Pictures launched world sales at the Cannes Market. Atit Shah's Create Entertainment ("The Red Mask", "Money") is lead-producing. Casting was handled by Stefanie Seifer, Hailey Giles, and Chiara Marini of Spark Casting.

Shah said in a statement: "Our cast brings extraordinary depth and complexity to roles that demand exactly that. Eric's script taps into something primal about trust, trauma and what we're willing to unsee when we love someone. Partnering with Minerva to bring this film to the global marketplace is an exciting step, and we couldn't have asked for a better home going into Cannes".

Directors Noorani and Bergemann added: "'The Things We Hide' is designed to feel layered, intimate and psychologically ambiguous. A story where every visual choice is intentional, constantly inviting audiences to question what is real, what is perceived and what may be influencing these characters. With Lil Rel, Angela, and Manny bringing such emotional complexity to the material, we're thrilled to finally bring this vision to life alongside Atit Shah, the team at Create Entertainment, and Minerva Pictures".

Minerva's Monica Ciarli said: "'The Things We Hide' is a psychological thriller with all the ingredients to captivate international audiences: a gripping concept, a distinctive directorial vision, and an exceptional cast and creative team behind it".
