David Morse Joins the Fifth and Final Season of MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN

Emmy and Tony-nominated actor David Morse ("The Green Mile", "The Rock", "We Were Liars") has joined the fifth and final season of Taylor Sheridan's Paramount+ crime drama series "Mayor of Kingstown" as a new series regular. Production on the eight-episode final season is currently underway.

Morse will play Russell Hardy, a seasoned FBI agent sent to Kingstown. In the wake of Tracy's (Nishi Munshi) murder and the vengeance visited upon Callahan by Mike (Jeremy Renner) and Kyle (Taylor Handley), FBI agent Russell Hardy (Morse) arrives in Kingstown searching for the "fugitive" Callahan. A true lawman, Agent Hardy threatens to unearth all of Mike's sins and secrets, and disrupt Kingstown's tenuous balance of power.

The cast also includes Edie Falco, Laura Benanti, Hugh Dillon, Tobi Bamtefa, Derek Webster, Necar Zadegan, Nichole Galicia, and Lennie James.

"Mayor of Kingstown" is produced by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions. Co-created by Oscar nominee Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, the series is executive produced by Sheridan, Dillon, Renner, Antoine Fuqua, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Michael Friedman, Dave Erickson, Wendy Riss, Evan Perazzo, Michael Slovis, Regina Corrado, and Keith Cox. Erickson also serves as showrunner.

Morse can next be seen in the feature films "Mayday" and "Saturn Return".

"Avatar: Fire and Ash" is a sci-fi epic directed by James Cameron from a script co-written by Cameron, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver. The film is the third installment in the "Avatar" series, and it stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Stephen Lang, Sigourney Weaver, Oona Chaplin, Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell, Jemaine Clement, Giovanni Ribisi and David Thewlis.

The film opened in theaters on December 19, 2025. Two more sequels are in the works. "Avatar 4" will be released in 2029, while "Avatar 5" will open in theaters in 2031.

"Avatar: The Way of Water" is a sci-fi action adventure film directed by James Cameron from a script co-written by Cameron and "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" scribes Amanda Silver and Rick Jaffa.

The third season of the true crime anthology series "American Crime Story" has premiered on September 7, 2021 on FX. Titled "Impeachment", the new season chronicles the Clinton–Lewinsky scandal and is based on the book "A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Story of the Sex Scandal That Nearly Brought Down a President" by Jeffrey Toobin.

"Tommy" is a new drama series created by "Donnie Brasco" and "Quiz Show" writer Paul Attanasio. The show stars Edie Falco as Abigail "Tommy" Thomas, a former high-ranking NYPD officer who becomes the first female Chief of Police for the LAPD. The cast also includes Michael Chernus, Russell G. Jones, Olivia Lucy Phillip, Adelaide Clemens and Joseph Lyle Taylor.

"Tommy" premiered on February 6, 2020 on CBS.

THE LAND OF STEADY HABITS Trailer, Clip, Featurettes, Images and Poster

"The Land of Steady Habits" is a dramedy written and directed by Nicole Holofcener based on the novel of the same name written by Ted Thompson.

The film stars Ben Mendelsohn as a deeply flawed male protagonist whose tragic mistakes impact and inform the complex relationships in his life. Edie Falco, Thomas Mann, Charlie Tahan, Connie Britton, Elizabeth Marvel, Josh Pais, Michael Gaston and Bill Camp co-star.

"The Land of Steady Habits" premiered at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival and was released on September 14th via Netflix. The film has received mostly positive reviews from critics.

THE COMEDIAN Trailer, Clips, Images and Poster

Directed by Taylor Hackford ("Ray"), the comedy "The Comedian" stars Robert De Niro as Jackie, an aging comic icon who's reached something of a dead end in his career. No matter how hard he tries to reinvent himself, people only want to know him as the former television character he once played. After accosting an audience member, Jackie is sentenced to perform community service, where he meets Harmony (Leslie Mann), and the two find unexpected inspiration in one another.

The film also stars Harvey Keitel, Danny DeVito, Patti LuPone, Edie Falco, Charles Grodin and Cloris Leachman.

"The Comedian" opened in theaters in limited release on December 9, 2016, and expanded nationwide on February 3rd. It received a negative critical reception and poor box-office results, grossing less than $1 million in its first wide opening weekend.

The film is now available on DVD and Blu-ray.
