Dexter Season 2 Trailer

Today we have new trailers for:
  • The second season of the Showtime/Paramount+ series "Dexter: Resurrection" starring Michael C. Hall. The second season cast will also include Dan Stevens, Brian Cox, Gabriel Luna, Krysten Ritter and Uma Thurman.
  • The fourth and final season of AMC's zombie horror spinoff series "The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon". Jimmy Smiths joins the cast for the new season.
  • The third season of CBS' NCIS spinoff prequel series "NCIS: Origins" starring Austin Stowell.
  • The second season of the USA Network's legal drama series "The Rainmaker" based on John Grisham's best-selling novel.
  • The 28th season of NBC's "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" starring Mariska Hargitay.
  • The new CBS legal drama series "Cupertino" from Robert and Michelle King, the creators of "The Good Wife". The cast includes Mike Colter and Rachel Keller.

Krysten Ritter Returning For Dexter Resurrection Season 2

Krysten Ritter is set to return as guest star for the second season of the Showtime/Paramount+ series "Dexter: Resurrection". In Season 1 she starred as fan-favorite Mia, aka Lady Vengeance, a serial killer by night and sommelier by day, who was eventually killed while in prison. Season 2 details are being kept under wraps, so we'll just have to wait and see if she's still playing Lady Vengeance, or a different character.

The cast also includes Uma Thurman, who reprieses her character Charley, as well as newcomers Brian Cox as The New York Ripper, Dan Stevens as The Five Borough Killer, Bokeem Woodbine as Capt. Mixon, and Nona Parker Johnson as Fiona Mixon.

Showrun and executive produced by Clyde Phillips, "Dexter: Resurrection" started weeks after Dexter (Michael C. Hall) took a bullet to the chest from his own son, as he awakens from a coma to find Harrison (Jack Alcott) gone without a trace. Realizing the weight of what he put his son through, Dexter sets out for New York City, determined to find him and make things right. The Season 2 synopsis has not been revealed.

The show is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Counterpart Studios. Phillips executive produces alongside Hall, Scott Reynolds, Marcos Siega, Tony Hernandez, and Lilly Burns. John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton, Veronica West, Kirsa Rein, Tanner Bean and Katrina Mathewson also executive produce.

Brian Cox New York Ripper Dexter Resurrection Season 2

Emmy winner Brian Cox ("Succession") has joined the cast of the upcoming second season of the hit Showtime series "Dexter: Resurrection". He will star in the series regular role of The New York Ripper, a serial killer who terrorized the City years ago, and although he is mo longer active, he's found a new way to stay in the spotlight by continuing to taunt the survivors of his long-ago murder spree. At the end of Season 1, Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) had discovered the identity of the New York Ripper when he found a folder belonging to Leon Prater (Peter Dinklage), emblazoned with the name "Don Frampt, New York Ripper".

The series is created, showrun and executive produced by Clyde Phillips. The plot synopsis for Season 2 has not been revealed. The first season started weeks after Dexter took a bullet to the chest from his own son, as he awakens from a coma to find Harrison (Jack Alcott) gone without a trace. Realizing the weight of what he put his son through, Dexter sets out for New York City, determined to find him and make things right.

But closure doesn't come easy. When Miami Metro's Angel Batista (David Zayas) arrives with questions, Dexter realizes his past is catching up to him fast. As father and son navigate their darkness in the city that never sleeps, they soon find themselves deeper than they ever imagined — and that the only way out is together.

The first season's cast also included Uma Thurman, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa, Emilia Suárez, James Remar, Neil Patrick Harris, Krysten Ritter, Eric Stonestreet, and David Dastmalchian. Season 1 is available to stream on Paramount + with Premium Plan.

Dexter Resurrection Series Trailers Clips Featurette Images And Posters

"Dexter: Resurrection" is a crime drama series created by Clyde Phillips as a sequel series to "Dexter" and "Dexter: New Blood". Michael C. Hall reprises his iconic titular role as the show picks up a few weeks after the events of "New Blood".

The cast also includes Jack Alcott, Uma Thurman, Peter Dinklage, Krysten Ritter, Neil Patrick Harris, Eric Stonestreet, David Dastmalchian, David Zayas, Desmond Harrington, James Remar, John Lithgow and Jimmy Smits. The series premiered its first two episodes on Paramount+ with Showtime on July 11, 2025, and will make its cable debut on Showtime on July 13th.

John Lithgow And Jimmi Smiths Dexter Resurrection

Emmy winners John Lithgow ("Conclave") and Jimmy Smits ("Sons of Anarchy") will reprise their roles of Arthur Miller aka the Trinity Killer and Miguel Prado, an ADA-turned-lawbreaker hellbent on revenge, in Showtime's upcoming original series "Dexter: Resurrection". The show is a sequel to the limited series "Dexter: New Blood" and has been in production in New York since January.

The cast includes Michael C. Hall as the titular protagonist, David Zayas as Detective Angel Batista, Jack Alcott as Dexter's son Harrison Morgan and James Remar as Dexter's father Harry Morgan. New additions include Uma Thurman as Charley, Peter Dinklage as Leon Prater, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine as Blessing Kamara, Kadia Saraf as Detective Claudette Wallace, Dominic Fumusa as Detective Melvin Oliva and Emilia Suárez as Elsa Rivera. Other previously announced cast members include Neil Patrick Harris, who will play Lowell, Krysten Ritter as Mia Lapierre, Eric Stonestreet as Al and David Dastmalchian as Gareth. Also, David Magidoff will reprise the character of Teddy Reed from the Iron Lake Police Department.

Clyde Phillips and Scott Reynolds will serve as co-creators and executive producers."Dexter: Resurrection" is set to premiere this summer, and is executive produced by Phillips, who also returns to serve as showrunner, and produced by Showtime Studios and Counterpart Studios. Michael C. Hall also serves as executive producer along with Scott Reynolds, Tony Hernandez and Lilly Burns, with Marcos Siega serving as producing director. Monica Raymund is set to direct four episodes with Siega directing six episodes for the series. The series is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

Krysten Ritter Joins Dexter Resurrection

"Jessica Jones" and "Orphan Black: Echoes" star Krysten Ritter is set to join Showtime's new drama series "Dexter: Resurrection" for a high-profile guest arc. The show chronicles a new chapter for Michael C. Hall's iconic serial killer Dexter Morgan.

Ritter will recur as Mia Lapierre, a renowned sommelier who may be hiding a serial killer secret. The main cast of the new Dexter series, which has been filming in the Big Apple since last month, includes David Zayas, James Remar, Jack Alcott, Uma Thurman, Peter Dinklage, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusaand and Emilia Suárez.

"Dexter: Resurrection" will be released this summer on Paramount+ with Showtime. It's executive produced by Clyde Phillips, who also returns to serve as showrunner. Hall also serves as executive producer along with Scott Reynolds, Tony Hernandez and Lilly Burns, with Marcos Siega serving as producing director.

Monica Raymund is set to direct four episodes with Marcos Siega directing six episodes for the series. The series is produced by Showtime Studios and Counterpart Studios and distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

Michael C Hall Dexter Resurrection

Michael C. Hall is set to reprise the iconic role of Dexter Morgan for the sequel series titled "Dexter: Resurrection", and provide narration for the prequel series "Dexter: Original Sin".

Set in present day, "Resurrection" will follow-up the events in "New Blood". It is set to premiere in Summer 2025. The big question is how can Dexter still be around for the sequel, when the character was killed off in the "New Blood" finale, and even creator and showrunner Clyde Phillips confirmed that Dexter is dead.

After announcing his return to the franchise at the San Diego Comic-Con, Michael C. Hall offere a cryptic answer to questions about the character's survival in the finale which saw the serial killer bleeding out in the freezing cold: "I don’t know what I am authorized to say other than, it's really cold out there.". He also added that "Ressurection" will pick up "right where we left off". And, it could "potentially" be a multiple seasons show.

"Dexter: Original Sin" will premiere in December 2024, and it stars Patrick Gibson as a young Dexter and Christian Slater as his father, Harry Morgan. The cast also includes Molly Brown, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Patrick Dempsey, Joe Pantoliano and Christina Milian.

The decision to make more shows with the character is no doubt motivated by the fact that the original "Dexter" series is enjoying quite a resurgence lately, rising on the Neilsen charts and landing in the No. 2 spot for the week of June 24 with 1.48 billion viewing minutes across all platforms. Previous seasons of both shows are available for subscribers on Paramount+ with the Paramount+ with Showtime plan.
